I don't mind Tyra. Generally she's not a daytime television host I'd sit down and watch but she does seem to have a mind and usually puts a positive spin on empowering women, blacks, and gays. :D

Tyra is ... well I find her very interesting. Her show is great to watch occasionally. ^-^

Oh, seeing that gif of a fat black woman made me think of something:

When I went to see Paranormal Activity there was a preview for an Oprah co-funded movie about a 16yr old girl (fat and black, hence the memory jog) growing up in an abusive house... wanting to quit school... already had a child...

God it was just the saddest thing ;_; Like literally I cannot handle thinking about some of the horrible situations people live in because I just can't handle it. No lie. D:

Yeah that was it. omg. I think I am going to see it but if I saw it in theaters I'd literally be crying. And I just can't subject myself to emotional rawness in public. Requiem for a Dream had me sobbing at the end just how sad I was for the main characters and gaaaaaah. Plus things like that leave me so depressed for at least the rest of the day, if it doesn't cast a pall over my whole week. And Precious just looks SO SAD. But, I mean, maybe it'll end happy? Maybe? ;_;

And Chris Crocker is god xO I really appreciate his vein of comedy.

The ending is kind of happy and sad at the same time. People I know who saw it said the ending leaves you feeling good but poor Precious doesn't have the perfect happy ending ;~;

[For clarity, I know that Tyler Perry is in on marketing the film but GAWD I just saw him playing the main character of the fat black girl and it killed me.]
