All I have is a dog. A whippet - he also happens to be scared of other dogs. -_-

My neighbours have chickens though, and there's a fair bit of wildlife where I live (which happens to be on top of a cliff-side of doom, backyard being the bush, yet 5 minutes drive max and it's all residential. Or the beach, depending which direction you drive).

There's a whole heap of tame ducks (the baby ones are overly cute - and once one attacked my shoe of all things, thinking it was bread or something, which was kinda amusing XD) and even rabbits by my bus stop, and animals like turkeys and lorikeets and possums and lizards and kookaburras that come to our house/'yard'. On rare occasions poisonous snakes.... and once an echidna, and a wallaby. Also once a koala which lived in a tree in our 'backyard' for three months or so.

Hurrah for wildlife at my doorstep. XD

(And yes - the pelican by all accounts had tried to swallow her arm. Hungry buggers. -_-)
 
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting hereabouts, so I hope I'm not unwittingly doing something wrong. :)

With regards to pets--I have two adorable little friends: a quail named Sir Chirpsalot and a Jack Russell puppy named Napoleon. Someday I'd like to get a peregrine falcon, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
 
Maybe you can. I wouldn't know, I've never really checked XD
 
Uh no. They're too messy for the pet store. o_o

You'd.. yeah, have to get them off farms or something. XD;
 
Pets are awesome. I love my dog. And cats are really cute <3

I mean...no, no, that's about right. I can't stand ducks in the park, at least the ones at the park I frequent. They're incredibly rambunctious and like to gang up on people who try to do nice things for them.

You think ducks are rude? Try Geese. Meanest bird out there..

Our ducks are actually pretty relaxed. They don't really.....gang up on us. In fact, it's usually some little girl that goes chasing after them, which always makes me sad =(
 
I have never been bitten by a goose, or any animal for that matter XD
 
I had a duck try to bite me a couple of times. Whatever you do, never draw them close to you...it would be worse in a cluster, almost the equivalent of having a group of bees chase after you, except these things are larger and have beaks that can poke at you with no remorse.
