My name means.. tiler of roofs! ;_;!
That makes me feel so inadequate. D:

@Netto Azure This is a great website for looking up the etymology of one's name. :p

Tiler of roofs? That's awkward. I think Karen Smith should mean "Mean Girl". XD

Since when did we start talking about names by the way?

My full name has A LOT of religious and Historical backround.
(Even though I'm not that religious . I do have some good ties in history, however. XD)

Though I believe it means "he will add".

Here is the full from Behindthename.com:

JOSEPH

Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, French, German, Biblical
Pronounced: JO-səf (English), zho-ZEF (French), YO-zef (German) [key]

From Iosephus, the Latin form of Greek Ιωσηφος (Iosephos), which was from the Hebrew name יוֹסֵף (Yosef) meaning "he will add". In the Old Testament Joseph was the eleventh son of Jacob. Because he was the favourite of his father, his older brothers sent him to Egypt and told their father that he had died. In Egypt, Joseph became an advisor to the pharaoh, and was eventually reconciled with his brothers when they came to Egypt during a famine. This name also occurs in the New Testament, belonging to Saint Joseph the husband of Mary and Joseph of Arimathea.
In the Middle Ages, Joseph was a common Jewish name, being less frequent among Christians. In the late Middle Ages Saint Joseph became more highly revered, and the name became popular in Spain and Italy. In England it became common after the Protestant Reformation. This name was borne by rulers of the Holy Roman Empire and Portugal. Other notable bearers include Polish-British author Joseph Conrad (1857-1924) and the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin (1878-1953).

VIRGILIO
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Italian, Spanish
Pronounced: veer-JEE-lyo (Italian), beer-HEE-lyo (Spanish) [key]

Italian and Spanish form of VIRGIL

Apparently I was right. My name is the Spanish (or Italian) form of Virgil. :P

VIRGIL
Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, Romanian
Pronounced: VUR-jəl (English) [key]

From the Roman family name Vergilius which is of unknown meaning. This name was borne by the 1st-century BC Roman poet Publius Vergilius Maro, commonly called Virgil, who was the writer of the 'Aeneid'. Due to him, Virgil has been in use as a given name in the English-speaking world since the 19th century.
My last name though isn't in the database. XD

This sounds like fun. Here's what I got:

STÉPHANE

Gender: Masculine

Usage: French

Pronounced: steh-FAN [key]
French form of STEPHEN

STEPHEN

Gender: Masculine

Usage: English, Biblical

Pronounced: STEEV-ən (English), STEF-ən (English) [key]
From the Greek name Στεφανος (Stephanos) meaning "crown". Saint Stephen was a deacon who was stoned to death, as told in Acts in the New Testament, and he is regarded as the first Christian martyr. Due to him, the name became common in the Christian world. It was popularized in England by the Normans.

This was the name of kings of England, Serbia, and Poland, as well as ten popes. It was also borne by the first Christian king of Hungary (10th century), who is regarded as the patron saint of that country. More recent bearers include British physicist Stephen Hawking (1942-) and the American author Stephen King (1947-).

So my name basically means "Crown". Ooh, I have an idea for my next username change(If I have one)

I actually have two last names. My first last name is French and it has a lot of religious conflicts in it's history to the point where my family was kicked out of France, immigrated to Scotland, where they then stayed for a few centuries. XD

My second last name is Dutch which was probably given to my biological father's family since they came here as slaves. Whatever though. My family history is bad ass. XD

My name is Fire Eagle David DeWitt Jr. My dad is Hawaiian and my mom is Native American. So pretty much my first name is Native American, but my last name is Caucasian. I'm also Newigan (I know I spelled it wrong), German, Italian, but pretty much in a nutshell, I'm a hybrid of every culture there is. It's a long story to tell, but yeah... lol.

I have an typical Icelandic name that can be translated to Lily Fairy (My middle name can be translated into so many things xD)....

If I find time I'll translate the meaning of my name sometime.:D

I have a last name, but barely use it, it's Norwegian so I'm with few in Iceland that have a family name that has passed generation to generation. :)

I'm pretty sure my last name is like many American last names in that it was changed when my ancestors immigrated here from Europe.

As for my first name, it's biblical so therefor it's probably something in Hebrew. I think it means something like "gift from god," but I'm not sure.

*snicker*

I sometimes use that as a joke when I'm talking about myself.

My first name is is derived from a Roman General and my middle name is Italian for the Devil.

My first name is the name of kings (Edward). You may all pay homage as you see fit. XD

My last name is Spellman, a variation I'm told of O'Spillane from when my family (dad's side) came over from Ireland and it was changed. Stupid Americans changing my name!! x.x Ah well, could have been worse I guess.

Also, just a little bit of a tidbit I'm proud of, I'm the third. Hoping to have a son become the fourth, but currently in a debate with my eventually (been together six years already, bound to happen eventually XD) wife, she does not want a fourth! >.<

Ok, so my name :D...

I have no idea what it means. :\

Humberto(oombehrt'oh): Awesomest Mexican Name?

No, my school is still in for final exams :\

And even after exams, I'm still gonna take my Geometry Advancement course this summer. So school won't be out for me till August XD.

Edit: YAY! an 88 on my Technology final.

Ah. To be young, in school and have summer vacation XD

But! If it does help, I can vacate whenever I feel like via the magical world of LEAVE!!! :P
