I watched the very first series of Transformers when it was on. Haven't seen the movies, though. D:

By the sounds of it just from this thread, I should rent it out sometime. ;P

I watched the first Transformers in theatres with my little brother, and I didn't really care for it. *shot*

Didn't really keep my interest, XD. Too many giant robots trying to kill each other, throughout the movie. Not much in the way of plot development either, if you ask me. *shot again*

So yeah, I doubt I'll be checking out the second one. xD

Both Niether. XD

Meh, well, while I guess there was some plot development, in that it had a beginning, middle, and end, I just didn't think it all too great. But hey, I'm weird. :P

In contrast, I thought 'The Happening' was cool, despite its myriad of bad reviews. xD

I remember seeing the first Micheal Bay Transformers movie when it came out in the theaters.
It was awesome in my opinion, and I'll now most likely see the second one tommorrow. :D

Wasn't a fan of the first one. Megan Fox can't carry it alone (though damned if she doesn't try XD). Second will probably be the same seeing as how my boy Starscream isn't shown prominently. Probably won't see it til it comes out on DvD.

I really liked the first movie and I do want to see the second. I've heard it's really not that great but it's not bad while you're actually watching it.. if that makes any sense. XD;

The first one was a lot better than the second. Gotta say, i was dissapointed with Revenge of the Fallen.

I didn't like the first one and I don't really want to see the second one. Not a fan of Michael Bay and Transformers was really just the epitome of his "appeal to the lowest-common denominator" type of films. Just...no plot. Just have stuff explode and it's all good.

They might be fun films to see in theatres and in IMAX especially. I dunno. I watched it home on my own on TV and was really bored. I took a nap.

I don't remember much about the film other than that I saw it. I don't remember any character names (aside from the robots because I knew the names before) or what happened during the movie. The whole thing is just a blur to me.

I've got nothing against the source material. A Transformers movie would be cool (personally loved the Beast Wars series as a kid) and the visuals and sound design in these movies are top notch. But, I just found it boring beyond the visualfest.

I'm still going to see Revenge of the Fallen regardless of the overall reaction. Rather taste a movie myself than let reviews out on the web stuff my ability to fork out some cash and see for myself. XD

Better than the summer "comedies" that come out every year. THOSE are the epitome of LCD films. <_< (I'm a bit annoyed because my brother has gone out of his way to see like 3 of them so far this year and I just... I don't understand why you would want to with most of them. XD)

Anyway, I don't mind spending some money to see really nice special effects--especially in theatres. :] I know what I'm seeing is mostly there to try to wow me into not caring that the plot and characters are likely subpar and I just enjoy it for what it is.

...it probably helps that I never really had any introduction to Transformers past the *trailers* for the first movie a few years ago. So watching the movie was my first time seeing the franchise, pretty much. Didn't know what to expect and thus couldn't be disappointed.

Well, that's why I don't watch those comedies either. XD

The old cartoon version was on like..an hour ago. I found it to be..quite suckish.

:| I hate stupid people. However if I posted they could report so if you care enough to know what happened PM me/VM me. *expects nothing*
