I'm quite the hands on guy myself, especially when i get cracking at some DIY.

Oh I'm getting a cat this month, I can't wait, I adored my last cat.

What DIY do you get up to Fox? My dad always tries to get me involved whenever something needs repairing. We had to repair the fence a few weeks ago after the neighbour broke it. <.<

Yes Fox you are most certainly hands on ;)
XD
Gav i was talking about my shelf building experiences not our friendship ;]

Fences are a doozey to repair if you don't have the right wood and nails.
I just do odd bits, shelves, desks etc just when i have the time. Say, do you ever watch discovery Home&Leisure? Man I got some pro tips for some DIY projects of mine from there!

No, my dad likes to teach me himself. His dad was in construction and taught him, he likes to do the same.
Maybe I should watch though, do they just do DIY or other things?

I am not really hands on, I am more of the "figure it out" guy, but also the guy who if attempted to do so, would probably end up breaking the thing.

The only thing I can build/work on/etc is a computer. Computers are easy.

Much more than DIY my friend, they have fishing, decorating, cars etc. All the things young and old men can enjoy in their spare time, I feel DIY and fishing builds character and patience which is something I, as a young guy, was lacking in.

Ctep, computers are something I find really hard to understand haha.

I'm the opposite, I can fix most things okay, but the computer is one of the things I am inept at repairing. xD; I should really learn seeing as I spend too much time on it.

Tried fishing, did not have the patience for it.
Cars aye? Do they actually talk about the technical side of it or go for the 'Top Gear Approach' and just mess around. xD

Top gear approach. I'm not one to care much for what does what in a car, I just like watching shows about how they preform, their history etc etc.

I didn't have the patience for fishing either, but trust me, just go to a lake with a little bait, a rod and some sandwiches and just enjoy the day, it's very therapeutic.

EDIT: Yuoaman, DIY stands for Do It Yourself, generally referring to some sort of laborious task undertaken by an amateur/someone not in the profession.

DIY = Do it yourself. Basically doing your own repairing and decorating etc. Rather than getting a 'professional' to do it for you.

>.< I'd rather hear about the technical side nerd, lolol, Top Gear can be funny at times, but it's not really my thing.
Knowing what I am like, I would probably just start shouting at the lake after 5 minutes.

Have you considered taking a fishing mag with you? Angling Times is a good one, full of tips, news and stories from other anglers. After a few snappy minutes of that I am sure you will be rearing to pull in those carp!

edit: i'm too tired, put Anglers Choice (which is where i get my kit) instead of Anglling times :3

Well I've read a few magazines about guns before and I didn't suddenly feel an urge to shoot somebody. Fishing isn't my thing, regardless. I like to stay engaged as much as possible.
I didn't expect you would be a big fishing fan though.

So shooting is your game eh? Shooting clay pigeons is also very relaxing, and taking out many a empty tin can with an Air rifle is quite calming too :3

well what can I say? When I'm on a shady riverbank on a summers day with my rod in the water and my copy of Angling times by my side, I'm a pretty happy guy!

My self and my dad sea fish on a regular basis. We used to sell the Sea Bass we caught to the local restraunts & shops too :3
