@Title: OMG, that's what I get from Starbucks. :o ZOMFGWTF?!

Starbucks moved into my town and stole all the custom away from our mass of cute little independent coffee shops, right in the middle of the recession. I can't say I approve of Starbucks-themed threads. =(
Bizarrely enough, Starbucks and independent coffee shops all manage to coexist peacefully in my town.

In any case, I also disapprove of Starbucks, mainly because its wares are overrated and overpriced.

Gloria Jean's > Starbucks.
Fact.

Is it just me, or does the conversation in the DCC seem to like Starbucks. XD

Frappucino's the only reason I ever go~ it's too expensive otherwise.

I never get anything from Starbucks.
The starbucks in my town, is not very good. People are continually finding flies in their milkshakes and dirty nails [from a dirty hand] in their drinks.. Eww, no thanks.

If I wanted to eat flies, I'd be a frog.

I love starbucks, its rather annoying though we don't have a proper starbucks where I live, they have a hotel that serves starbucks coffees but its far from the real thing.

My town was fortunate enough not to have a chain coffee store until its population hit 10,000. And even then Starbuck's is inside Target. We have two local coffee shops that have slightly different focuses, with one serving gellato (Italian style ice cream) and the other serving traditional American style ice cream as the primary alternatives to coffee. Though the latest place to start serving coffee is McDonald's.

Ick, local coffee shops are much better. Starbucks has like 4 or 5 locations in my city, and it's obnoxious. The other coffee shops are so much better.

Eh, I'm not very big on coffee. If I do have to drink it though, I get it at Tim Hortons.

Starbucks again? XD;

I think it IS expensive but my parents love Starbucks coffee. There's one relatively close to where I work and since my dad works here too, he often heads out to Starbucks and brings me back something. Usually just a hot chocolate or black tea lemonade. (I wish I liked coffee fffff.) I love the latter but any hot chocolate made outside my house tastes the same to me so, honestly, I wouldn't care whether the hot chocolate came from Starbucks, Timmies or a "no name" place. I doubt I'd ever notice the difference. @_@;

I love my gourmet hot chocolate mixes but when it's cold outside I'll buy a hot chocolate while on campus. Thankfully there's only Tim Horton's on my campus. I like their hot chocolate more than Starbucks (I got a big tub of Tim Horton's hot chocolate mix for Christmas last year XD)

My mom doesn't like Starbucks coffee. Says its way too strong. XD She likes Tim Horton's and McDonalds (or she used to. McDonalds went "fancy" now and that McCafe stuff is weird)

I don't think I've ever had strawberry syrup but... I don't think my family would use it enough anyway. XD; I'm the only one that bothers putting anything on my ice cream as it is.
I've had the strawberry one. That used to come in a powder too. It's kinda weird, but I liked it as a kid. Haven't had it ages.

Eww, I don't like pulp juice. It gets stuck in my teeth [nice image there]
Good store-bought orange juice must be A)Not from concentrate and B)Have extra pulp. I'm flexible with B. I drink it with no pulp, some pulp, extra pulp. But with the extra pulp it's like a liquid orange XD But I cannot swallow it if it's been concentrated. Sour, watery, ickiness.

I find any powder/mix hot chocolate to be really... idk, bland? :( It's never as flavourful as it is when I make it with just milk and Nesquick syrup.

My parents love strong coffee. A package of Starbucks coffee beans is always at the top of their Christmas lists. XD; And on the contrary, I know my mom at least refuses Timmies coffee... not sure if dad will drink it or not. :(
