I have a space between my two front teeth, but I like it :3 Other than that, my teeth are are perfectly fine, so there's no need for braces! And I've only got one filling~ I had cavities a couple other times, but they always healed so I never needed fillings then~ But yeah.

By the way, love the new DCC title, Chibi (it was you and not some other Mod who changed it, right? XD).

To tell you the truth, I should have my braces off by now, but no - My mom had to tell my orthodentist to take them off before we moved. Of course we moved.

A year later, my mom went back to a new orthodentist and found out that pretty much all orthodentists have the same exact precedure to putting on braces. >___>

o_O Braces are braces. They're more or less standardized absolutely everywhere. Sucks that you had to get them off and on again. That happened to me too. I moved and my new orthodontist decided to try *new* braces. It wasn't even required but my parents decided to go for it since we had a dental plan and... augh. Getting braces off hurts like 3 times as much as putting them on so getting them off and put back on in one day? It really sucked. XD

I don't have fond memories of that orthodontist. I wish I could say it was because of that incident but it's because he had really, really bad breath. :(

Well I think the new title goes well with the topic of braces and dentists and dental hygiene, don't you?

Eh...I should be happy that I got braces and that they're finally off. It only took 3 years. ;_;

As for whitening strips...maybe I'll just get one of those "Zoom!" things in the dentists office in the future. =P

I've never had to experience braces or retainers....Although I'm probably going to have my wisdom teeth out soon =(

ZOMG! Now I'm afraid of that. I saw the Digital X-Rays of my teeth and saw that my Wisdom Teeth are in a ">" (or Impacted) position. They'll definitely will have to be surgically removed in...2-4 years... TT^TT

My wisdom teeth never came in, for some reason. I'm not complaining, though. My mouth is full enough without them.

You're lucky. I had mine for four years (I know it's just a year less...but a year feels like a really long time to me).

I've noticed some people hate the dentist. I don't know why, but I've never been afraid of/hated the dentist.

Also, the removal of my braces wasn't that bad. It actually hurt less than them putting them on. However, I barely drank any milk when I had them put on. Every time they did work, it hurt. Once I started drinking milk all of the time, it quit hurting as much (I guess I needed the calcium).

Heeeey, I had that! :O I just got all my teeth out in one fell swoop at the end of spring break once. I had a pretty rough time of it but that's because I was immune to the painkillers they gave me afterwards for recovery. XD; I don't think I know anyone who had anywhere near the same problems as me.

No fair. :( I was always a heavy milk drinker when I had braces and whatnot and they still hurt like whoa whenever they were tightened and then when they were removed/readded, etc.

I've never had any problems with dentists either though. Ever. I guess I was just introduced to them at such an early age and it was so typical to me? Doesn't hurt that I looked forward to them because I'd always get to pick out a little toy and I'd get stickers after every appointment. XD; I'm can be won over fairly easily.

Lmfao I have no idea how I keep winning favourite admin. I'm not even all that active right now. 8| I just float around the DCC whenever I'm procrastinating. (Because of course if I actually don't have something to do, I'm sleeping or being... not at PC.)

I should really go back to voting in MOTM but I'm so bad at filling out the whole ballot. XD;
 
I haven't won anything in a MotM since like... October 2004? Haha.

And I vote just out of plain desire to express myself. I feel good when I'm voted for, so I suppose I vote hoping that the people I vote for feel like that aswell.
