Yeah!!!! Teeth!!!

Eureka! I found 1000 Posts! :)

So we're still talking about teeth eh?

Eh, when I was a kid, I was sooooo afraid of getting my teeth pulled that it's always too late. My teeth became
crooked and I had to get braces when I got here in the US. =P

Now I try to brush my teeth twice in the morning (After waking up and then after eating) Rarely in the mid-day, and once before I go to sleep and put on my retainers (Plus flossing and using mouthwash!)

My mom says to always brush my teeth after eating something, but I'm too lazy to do that.

Can't wait to get rid of the retainers and get used to eating LOTS of junk-food. 8D

I was born with naturally straight teeth. I brush my teeth twice a day. You shouldn't brush too much or with too much force since that eats away at the enamel on your teeth.

Has anyone else here have this happen to them: when I was around six months old, I came down with a really bad fever. I almost died, but obviously I didn't. Then, when I was around five years old, my adult teeth started coming in. My parents noticed something strange: they were discolored. My parents first suspected I wasn't brushing my teeth, but I've always been a nut about that. They asked the dentist and asked if I had a fever as a baby. They said yes and he explained that having a fever within the first year of life can discolor your adult teeth. And now I'm in the process of using whitening strips to get them back to the color they're supposed to be.

They're not terrible discolored, but I'd like them brighter. :[

That sounds familiar, it really does.
I think that might've happened to someone in my family. Not sure though.

Wow, Luke, that seems really weird. o_O I've never heard that before.

I've had a ton of dental work done. 8/ I had braces for 3-4 years and now I've got a permanent retainer (though it's more like braces on the inner side of my teeth) which sucks. Really, I should take the "gotta keep my teeth perfect!" attitude but I can't be bothered.

Luke, you also just reminded me that I have some of those whitening strips in my drawer. I should use them. XD;

Read the topic wrong based on the latest two posts. XD;;

I've never used that, I'll stick with normal-person teeth colour.

I'm about to get braces soon, my teeth are pretty bad so I'll definitely have to have them on for at least a year's worth of pain. xD

Braces don't hurt that much, just a few days until you get used to it. I was told to eat healthy stuff and stay away from snacks but I didn't listen and my teeth are perfectly fine.

Only thing I hate is the retainers you have to wear.

ps. When they take them off they just get some plier thing and rip em off, it sounds like your teeth are smashing into pieces. I was freaked out so much XD!

I know! When my mom took them out, (Yeah our ortho bailed out on us :<) it felt like they're crushing your teeth or something.:P

I an just terrifeid of my dentist...its a shame she has some nice volume when she leans over you

that and also never had braces though i do have a little overbite though you cant see it

I haven't been to the denist for a long time by now, since luckly I have no problem with my teeth right now. :3
I never had braces on my teeth before. >_<

I've never had any major dental work on my teeth before. Yup, never any cavities! I can't imagine them messing in my mouth like that >.<

You guys know what's funny? MOTM has 411 views but only a few replies. ??

I hated Braces, so much.
They weren't that bad, but they killed my eating habits.
Apples were very difficult to eat un-sliced.
Which I typically didn't have the time to slice apples, which I had for a quick snack every morning.
D:

I still drink pop, XD. In fact, I have a Pepsi here right now. :P

I prefer Coke, but the Pepsi was on sale. Meh.

And on another note, WHO THE HECK IS EATING THE DCC? O_O

And how does it taste? =P

EDIT: What page was I looking at...I replied to a completely different topic o.o.

Well, anyway....I've never had braces. XD

I've never had braces. XD; Many of my friends have had them; they really don't sound like a good time. I've had people comment that my teeth were incredibly straight and were surprised when I told them I've never had braces in my life, but I never thought my teeth were THAT straight. I mean, they're straight, but they're not perfect. XD;

I've only had two tiny cavities in my life; one has a silver filling (haha, loooong story), and then some other I got filled some time ago. I'm very diligent in my brushing. :x
