I love that.
It's so great.
Every time i hear that tale, I giggle inside.

It would be a mess.
Politics would jsut cause friction between people.
No matter how much of a 'just for funsies' attitude we put towards it, it could get nasty.

Well, no offense, but you weren't there for the discussion in Q&F. Apparently they used to have PC President as just a fun title and you get a bigger inbox, obviously an emblem nowadays. There's no politics in it, you'd be 'fake' running for office, you'd have a humorous campaign/ridiculously unaffiliated trash talk, etc.

Bringing it back wouldn't be mayhem at all, since there'd be types of screening for what groups can run and what not. We obviously have some outspoken/troublemaking/n00bsp3k members here that wouldn't be in a good position for running.

Well then.
I guess I've been possibly proven wrong.

I would do some serious mud slinging if that came back and I joined.

I don't care what anybody says, this thread title is officially the best thing the DCC ever had. Period.

Yes, yes it is. "Kick in the Pants" is the best expression since "Mama-se, mama-sa, mama-coo-sa"

XD Sorry, I didn't mean it in an "as a matter of fact" kind of way.

And, yeah, but a suggestion I had was..let a group of vote-counting representatives do the tallying. I'm sure ONE of the mods/admins wouldn't mind counting up everyone who voted. And there could be restrictions/pre-requisites on who could vote.

Not that me talking about it will stir talk of it coming back, but yeah, just helpful tips to make it work. I just love stuff like that :3

Too bad everyone took that idea way out of context, otherwise I think it would be a cool thing to do =/

People were saying it was too similar to MotM. Which I can sort of see I guess, but I still think it would be fun. =P

Ryan would automatically win, so it'd be no use. :|

Presidency was never open to mods. The only way to get it and be a mod at the same time is to be modded during your "term".

Anyway, I'm on the fence. Everyone always had so much fun but people are too bitter these days and I just think those people who say things like "it's such a popularity test, it's just pointless, etc" just suck all the fun out of things like this. :/

Everyone will vote for him even if he's not participating.

I can think of many substitutes for him though. Many clones.

You can't vote for someone if they're not participating, Nica. That's like voting a random off the street as a president when he or she isn't even running for it. It wouldn't happen, but if he was participating, he would surely own everyone else by about.. 10 votes?

Ryan wins pretty much everything to do with popularity. I mean, heck, look at MoTM. Ryan's always in there.

I'm just saying that's an example of how popular he is.
