This is sort of like Adam & Eve.. when they were told by God not to eat from the Forbidden Apple Tree in the Garden of Eden (or whatever the hell it's called), and then one day they were persuaded by a Serpent to eat an apple from the tree, and then they were cast out of the the garden.

Temptation's a dangerous thing. D:

But I do believe it was the serpent that told them to eat from it, not Satan.

And besides, God needed a balance between Good and Evil, so he made the box and such.

I pretty much don't even have a religion.

I know two stories to that.

Derk's explained Pandora, so I'll do the Tree.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve lived in perfect naked harmony, but in reality, they were stupid. There was a tree in the garden which God had forbidden them to eat, for reasons unknown to them. Satan tricked A&E into eating from this tree, the Tree of Good and Evil. And I can't remember why, but evil/sin was created.

And why was the tree created? Apparently it was to give humanity a choice, to be on God's 'side' or Satan's 'side'.

I thought that the Serpent was Liltih.
