Holy crud, how many Gurren Lagann fans are there? Thanks to you, I'm going to spend the next hour listening to Sorairo Days and Libera Me From Hell.
..........ffffffffff. Now I'm going to have to listen to Libera Me from Hell for ages tonight. >:|

Daredevil was ok...Enjoyable, but I've seen better movies. Jennifer Garner isn't my favorite either =/
Hey, what's wrong with Garner? >:D

Though I'm not really a fan of her recent work, I was a loyal Alias fan back when it was on. Just as I am with all of JJ's shows. ^_^

...and I seriously have no idea who Gurren Lagann is. XD

She's just not my favorite actress. Kate Beckinsale is gorgeous <3

I can get over big boobs, or even the shipment of blue-haired guys, XD.

It's just the giant fighting robots that turn me off. :P

I like live-action SciFi shows like Stargate & Torchwood, but I've never really gotten into any anime in the genre. ^_^

Well I don't see a reason why you shouldn't start with Gurren Lagann. it's only 27 episodes long, so it shouldn't take too long to finish. I recommend watching the first few episodes and see how you like it.

But if you'd like something more tame than I suggest Code Geass.

Code Geass is tame? xD *shot*
Well, I guess, compared to some very much worse manga/anime, it's pretty moderate.

Hm...it's conversations like these that make me think that I need to watch more anime and read more manga...xP

That was a typo, obviously. Lemme fix that for you, GunSaberSeraph <3

*lame.

But yeah, Gurren Lagann is really a good show, there's more to is than giant robots and if I DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER I'd say that the show completely mocks the whole genre by blowing the "giant" in giant robot out of proportion.

The amount of one-liners is pretty staggering too. There was one almost every episode. (o3o)

Although personally, Gurren Lagann is one of few anime series that succeeds its manga counterpart (since it started out as an anime in the first place).

I suggest Zoids as an easy anime to run through XDD The Zero series is only 26 or 29 episodes and it's pwnsome. Not much story and it's a little old-school compared to some others, but I lyke it. :3

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be offensive, it didn't occur to me that it was a typo. Dx

*slaps self* I need to get on topic...uh...well...I thought Gurren Lagann was interesting, but it stopped at episode 27....so I don't think it'd for long term entertainment.

Well, I've already had Code Geass suggested to me and I intend to give it a shot. But I still don't know of these Zoids you speak of Ryan. =P

If I'd suggest a short anime, I'd go with Zero no Tsukaima. Now I definitely love that one, and I recommend it to all of you. ^_^

And which season of Zoids in particular? There are like four. (o3o)

If you want a really short series though, I recommend Kyou no Go no Ni. Only four episodes, although it has nothing to do with mecha.
