Well you can't be good/perfect at everything?

I for one, am very short. I can't reach things and I can never see where I'm going in tight crowds xD

And I've got braces... for now. I've finally gotten used to it, but it's still a pain in the butt (in the mouth?) when eating knäckebröd or apples or carrots or... or anything you have to BITE on. And of course, when making out. Darn, it's much harder ;;;____;

True, though I think I'd rather have braces, since your vision's not really likely to improve much without surgery or something, and crooked teeth and braces are temporary. Braces sound really annoying though. =/

I've always had really good vision though no one can figure out why because by all means I should probably have glasses by now considering I don't take care of my eyes at all, haha.

Braces suck but I'd rather have them than glasses. Glasses seem pretty annoying but I get absolutely squeamish at the thought of contact lenses so I'd be stuck with them. >_<

Speaking of doctors... I got a needle today and my arm hurts. ;_;

Ouch >.< That sounds scary, I hate it when doctors have to pierce your skin. What was it for?

My vision is slightly under 20/20 :( I have glasses, though I almost never wear them XD I don't know why... everyone says they look really good on me and all that. I just don't like them.

Eww ;__; I hate getting needles, especially in the arm.

You get used to making out after so long. lol

I have had glasses for years now. I am used to them. when i first had them I hated it but now I need to wear or I can't see anything.

I can't wear contacts, I tried but I could never do it. Having my fingers that close to my eyes just wasn't for me.

Weird. The optometrist said I've developed a very minor astigmatism and slight colour deficiency.

Well, I can barely see anything right now because they dilated my eyes xD

Wow, that sucks. Well, at least it's only a slight problem. I hate getting my eyes dilated. Very annoying, and extremely difficult to see.

Yeah, my friend just got glasses for astigmatism and it was exactly the same for her. Though she didn't go to school that day.

I love the dilation. My brother and I usually have our optometrist appointments at the same time and the last time we had them, they had one of those "I Spy" books in the waiting room. So we had the dilation done and we went out and tried to find stuff in the book.

"Is that the cat?"
"I... I don't know. I can't see it."
"Well let's say it is."
"Okay."
"Is that a nickel?"
"No... I think that's a thumbtack."
"It looks like a nickel."
"Okay let's call it a nickel. NEXT PAGE."

Haha we're such dorks.

@. Twenty Six: :( Just a medical thing I have to get a shot for monthly for a while. I think this was my last one though. \o/

Yea, it sucks.
I can hardly see what I'm typing, so bear with my typos xD
I'm not even going to try TCTI right now xD

Anyway, apparently I've had this colour deficiency my whole life.
I've never taken a test for it until today though, so that explains why I didn't know.
Apparently my dark yellows, dark oranges and medium reds all blend into a brown for my eyes.
Weird...

Which makes me wonder the true colour of AAs and SMods xD

I have very fond memories of I Spy books 8D

My eyes have pretty good vision. I used to have glasses, but it's better now.

I Spy books were and still are so amusing xD

Sublime- Your typing looks fine =] Wow, so you've been seeing dark yellows and oranges and reds as brown your whole life?

A color deficiency would get really annoying, especially a serious one. I've been to many optometrists, and they've always messed something up in their diagnosis. It's been a huge pain. I finally found one that knows what the heck he's been talking about. It took them almost 18 years to figure out what the heck is wrong with my eyes.

That actually sounds pretty fun. Not sure if I'd actually want to do it, though.

Haha, I haven't gone to an optometrist like... ever. .___. I have 20/20 vision, but still... I should really get on that.

I don't mind needles, actually. I'll get shots and generally barely feel them or don't feel them at all. Is that wrong? XD

I have to move my laptop at least two feet away to see xD

Well, not a literal brown. More of a yellow-brown, orange-brown, etc.
Still crazy though. It makes me wonder what a real dark yellow looks like, seeing as I've apparently never seen it. xD

Woah, this explains why "Busy" and "Away" look almost the same on MSN!

Well, dark yellow is basically yellow with brown tones in it, I guess xD
Wow, if I want to be able to see exactly what it is I'm typing without my glasses I'd have to put my face about 6 inches away from my desktop.

You know what I just realized?
You can't describe colours to someone who's colour blind

It's near impossible to do it. Besides stating that blue is a "cool" colour or something like that.

I mean, you can describe sights to someone who is blind, but not colours to the colour blind.

Yeah, that would be incredibly difficult. It may not be impossible. I'm sure there are some people who are good enough with words that they could describe it to a color blind person.
