I got my learner's permit right when I turned 16 and got my license a year after. The test was a joke lol...

I was exactly 16 and a half when I got my G1 and I mostly got it so that I could have ID on me all the time since my mom didn't trust me not to lose my health card, haha.

I never finished my driving lessons. :[ I wonder if I still can, hmm.
I will get my G1 this summer, but I possibly may not get a car early. My mom still doesn't even have a car herself. >.<

Just do it at your spare time. When I get ready some time in the future, I will hurray and get the stuff out of the way. (even if I don't feel like it).

Sadly, the tests are harsh to others in my state. If your license get suspend (far as driving drunk, illegal street racing, bad behavior at school, etc.,) you will have to start all over with these tests again. And there are alot in the state of Georgia. 0.o

I'm still waiting for the day when I can legally get behind the wheels. ~_~'

Until then, I'll be riding my bycicle. <3

I wasn't 21 until I got my license, so don't feel bad if you're 17, or 19, and don't have your license!

I have my Permit/Learners at the moment. I could go get my Restricted, which would let me drive on my own between 6am - 8pm, buuut I'm too lazy XD; I'll probably just hold off until I'm 16 and get my full license then.
That would be so much cooler than just having a learners though, I would totally go for it.

I drive pretty well. You have to around here; no trains (not like you'd use one for short distances anyway), the buses all SUCK (and block so much traffic it's not even funny), and everything residential (for most of us) is spread very far away from downtown/school/shopping areas/hangout places. I think I'm a well-rounded driver..I did get into a fluke accident in October that totaled my car (some freak 70 year old foot doctor in a giant Chevy truck rammed my trunk when I was making a left), yet since then I've been the epitome of driving carefulness.

Luckily both my car and my dads car that I've been driving in the winter both get good/great gas mileage, so my paycheck doesn't suffer due to that. :P

Ah, sorry to hear about your accident. But seeing from the fact that you can joke about it, nobody got hurt. So that's good. ^_^

Heh, I guess public transportation is only good if it works, XD. Most of the buses here run on fifteen minute intervals on weekdays, so it's usually fairly easy to use them to get to wherever you're going. And XD, we actually have a light rail system here in Ottawa, so we can take a train for short distances. In runs right through my school, so I take it often enough. It can take you downtown, or to the shopping mall south of the city. ^_^

Alakazam17, your banner is so cute. I am one of those slow drivers. I am such a noob.
Hey, thanks! And welcome to PC! :D

I don't typically use public transit in Toronto unless I go downtown. xD My parents don't mind driving me around the suburbs if need be since they can usually find a reason to head out somewhere and drop me off on the way. But downtown, we take the subway and streetcars to get around all the time. (b'-')b

Shouldn't you be kinda studying? >> Well, I mostly use public transportation, too, but only because I'm mostly on the way from or to my university and parking spaces are rare there. Very rare. Or expensive. >> And since as a student, I don't have to much anything (or well, not much) for bus/train, it makes much more sense to use them unstead of driving a car by yourself. =3
Though...fifteen minute intervals on weekdays? I wish. >.<

Heh, I've never used the public transit in Toronto, but if it's anything like what we have in Ottawa, I'll be fine. ^_^

Though I think I'll be headed down there in a little over a month, so I'll be finding that out soon enough. XD

i can't ride a bike. never learnt.
Its easy, its like walking but on wheels and faster.

I can go everywhere with the bus here in san diego, they go to the beaches, downtown, a few of them go to casinos. alls i need is that elusive bus pass

We get pre-paid busandtrain tickets froom school for free :3 Yay.

And I got my drivers license half a year after I went 18. Tiz nice.

I barely get a chance to drive, but I have my license. (I don't have a vehicle, either.)
I just use the buses here to get everywhere, since university students get to ride them for free.
