Morning PC! Wonderful morning is it not? Great football weather over here, as we shall be commencing a game here about an hour and a half :D

*yawns*

Good morning to you too. By football, I assume you mean the sport you actually play with your feet. I prefer American football. :P

Hell no, I mean AMERICAN football. That's called soccer. I'm talking about throwing that pigskin around baby. :P

There is no such thing as soccer. That is just an American slang term for football, so that they could play it in their own country without violating any copyright laws. :P

It's funny how you guys didn't do the same thing with Smarties, XD. They're everywhere else, but just because the name was already branded on a U.S. Halloween candy....lol

"Soccer" is a slang term for the "association" in "association football", and it's stuck ever since in the US, Canada, Australia etc. "Football" is just the term for the most prevalent form of football in a country, so no one's usage of it is wrong. :(

I can't wait for the new (association) football season to start over here. I'm not sure there's any way my team could do any worse than last year, so the only way is up. 8D

Football... urgh I hate it <_< So boring & it's those players that cause the credit crunch T_T

football really isn't that bad, except for the fact that most association football players earn more than some people get in a year, in a week. Examples include the £80 million that Real Madrid paid for Cristiano Ronaldo. Ridiculous amount of money for a person who kicks a ball around on a pitch for 90 minutes.

I still agree wiith you but when you think about it.

He's an extreme talent which is rare to find.
He scored over 40 goals from midfeild in 1 season
He was a key player for the biggest team in the world
Think about how fit he needs to be to play those 90 mins. Players run on av.7 miles a match.
they're lives are dedicated to soccer they cant go out every night after work and go to a bar.

You know? And Madrid had the money so why not...
Better they pay it for possibly one of the greatest players ever when he's on form than someone who wasn't worth it

I guarantee if they throw you out there in a professional football game, you would be exhausted within the first fifteen minutes.

In Mexico, "Football" is translated to "Futbol" which means the game played by a black and white polygon'd ball. Unfortunately, it was lost in translation and "Football" means the game with a brown ball that kills people at random.

Having Mexican roots, it's just in my blood to prefer "Soccer" over any other sport.

Even better is drinking Coke while watching a soccer game in Mexico. Coke and Soccer are the souls of Mexico :D.

Speaking of Coke, what is Spey's problem? He made me spill my Coke when I read his "Admin" thread. I cried for 2 hours in respect for my coke ;_;. Curse you Spey.

I love watching real-time lacrosse at the stadium. Lacrosse is probably the most fun to watch out of all sports that I've seen. It's just so full of action and everyone is moving back and forth and changing and there's always just so much action!

Speaking of Spey, he's a noob.

The staff tricked him into thinking he was a staff member and he fell for it.

Oh...

Please excuse me while I laugh and crap blue bricks at the same time.

Well how did he think that? Is his name in awesome blue like they do? Or orange? Or possiblty green or red? Wow. Even I wouldn't have fallen for that.
