I am on it right now. I just hope my digital camera... actually has a camcorder function, no matter how short. ;_;
Can you record with your webcam?

Any course like English = count me out.

:( I hate subjective courses. I'm sure it's better in universities where profs are probably held to a much higher standard than high school teachers but... well, I've already shared my thoughts on biased high school teachers. Never want to have to deal with that sort of thing again.

I spent the first few weeks evaluating my subjective subject teachers this year, taking notes as to what exactly they like to see in an essay, their pet hates, etc.

Probably the most productive I've been all year, because it's as a result of that that I do so well in these subjects. XD;

Ugh, I seriously hate my English course. Despite the fact that it's an easy 90, we honestly haven't learned anything new since freshmen year. If you were to ask me all the new things I learned during my junior year, I wouldn't be able to fill three lines.

I also feel that some fields of mathematics should be optional depending on your career plan go away calculus
(all my comments are obviously directed at ny's education system)

I don't really learn anything in English anymore, either. All we do is read books and do questions on them, do essays about random topics ("What would you do faced with possible divorce?" o_O You want to ask 17-year-olds about this?), and finally, poetry. (with random rules to follow to spark "creativity")

Ooooo boy, you've just scratched the surface (even if you are purposely generalizing). Even in college, they'll reteach you grammar, and you'd be surprised on how many people forget and have to relearn a lot of it (among other things).

I'd have to say though that Shakespeare is one of my favourite topics.

Hmm... I learned the most about the English language during my junior year in high school, than in any other year. Learning how to dissect a piece of literature and discuss its syntax, diction, tone, imagery, and detail... that's not something I was used to. XD

You all seem smart, are you taking high enough classes? >:
