Well.. I don't work, I go to school :] But everthing is blocked there :[

My school's blocking system is flawed.

If you type youtube.com in the address bar it blocks the site but type youtube into google and click on it and it lets you on.

This isn't blocked on there anyway but get busted (which is very likely to happen) and you're dead. So I don't go on.

Ours is simply.. genius.. it has everything blocked. Every single unlikely proxy is blocked. Our school must have a very clever filter. A bit overprotective though. Even some educational stuff is blocked XD;

PC was never blocked at my high school but they caught onto Youtube by the end of grade 11 for me, I think. xD;

I don't think I would've liked being home schooled. My favourite part of high school--and a lot of my fondest memories--come from just being with friends there. Besides, I have no drive to work on my own so I need something like going to school in a building to make me take it seriously or I forget and procrastinate faaar too easily.

Let's see if I can remember, back in my day, the internet started to get popular at around grade 5-6, so the whole school computers had yet to be connected, and there was no real need for filters.

We had limited internet in junior high, and it was on a mac with windows boot. Though after school we could use it for whatever we wanted apparently. But during school, it was advised not to. I remember once a person in my group who was helping to search for some information time someting like endangeredanimals.comand came up with some rather disturbing stuff...

In high school, there was no filter, and you could techinically do whatever you wanted, though the librarian would tell you off, for not doing school work related stuff.

I didn't have my own computer until I was... 17, I think? x_X Now that I've had my own for a few years, I can't even imagine going back. Ugh, it's so annoying having to share with other people.

I have a desktop computer in my room, and my mom has a laptop for her, but, for some reason, she ends up checking her mail and playing games in my desktop all the time >_>
