Am I a bad person for not taking much interest in anime at all? I really only use it for signatures and such, though I've been meaning to watch Chobits.
Not much anime themes lately, just good ol' old Disney.
 
I'm starting to think I'll have to watch Bleach now. I've already folded under pressure with Naruto, and was already watching the Shaman King to boot.

But I'll have to admit, there are some good movies and shows out there. I recently got Akira and Samurai 7 as well as Vexille and Sword of the Stranger.

Actually, maybe you can. Just connect your CPU to the TV screen, then you'll have all the anime goodness you need.

Depending on the source. If it was a HD recorded show, then it might look crisp (if his laptop has an HDMI port, like mine), otherwise, the bitrate, and transfer would look really crappy on the tv screen, almost choppy and full of bleeding colours.

Bleach was my introduction to the world of Japanese anime and manga so I owe it the debt of following it all the way through. I remember my best friends forcing me to watch it and I remember replying "nah, I don't like watching cartoons fighting".

How times change XD.

Problem is, that TV's huge and tough to get behind both because it's an older style HDTV (2003) and because it's in this huge entertainment center. And at the back is where the HDMI input is, and that's being hogged by the Xbox 360 (only thing we have HDMI cables for).

I can use a VGA cable for my 26-inch HDTV, but that only goes up to 1300x768, which is much smaller resolution than my laptop has.
 
A CPU is a Central Processing Unit, also known as your processor. The only people who call a computer a CPU are people who don't know what it actually means. Your processor isn't your entire computer. D:

I was going to type the response of someone who doesn't know the names of computer parts, but that's too difficult for me to imitate.
