jackson been singer longer thats why, but lil waynes been rapping since he was 12

am i the only one who listens to rap and hip hop?

Yeah, I think you are the only one. :]

Michael Jackson had been singing way before that. Jackson Five, anyone?

Oh god, youtube them seriously! Hard to define. I suck with alternitive genres at least.

They're mainly just Alternative Rock/Folk. At least their older stuff is. I wouldn't place them in hard rock or anything else though.

im moving by chicago btw lol random, lil wayne is good btw

Hey, we understand you think he's good. lol

1) Humans are not chemical compounds. The various compounds in our bodies are not chemically bonded to the other adjacent compounds (e.g., blood cells are not chemically bonded to plasma).
2) I'm neutral on gay marriage.
3) Obama interrupts classes to announce that classes are important. Anyone else catch the irony here?
4) Regarding abortion: heartbeat (life) is generally agreed to start approximately 3 weeks after conception. Does this mean that there is a three week window in which abortion is fine?

Actually, only white people ages 16-29 really listen to rap... While people who wear jacket jeans, with band logos sowed on and have long hair, listen to metal. They more "flamboyant" men listen to pop music, and the rest listen to rock music.

The cool people however, listen to electronic music.

Professional Feign is Professional

In all honesty though, working in the music section of a movie/music store... The majority of albums we sell are rock/pop. Kings of Leon has been quite popular for some time, as well as Black Eyed Peas' latest album. Of course the sale of Michael Jackson stuff went through the roof.

I'd say, we sell slightly more metal music, than rap.

lol you bet he is klippy, btw how do i get email on here? lol

You do realize that you're breaking the one rule the Chit-Chat has, right? Quit going off-topic, kthx.

I wouldn't call it pop. They never feel pop to me, but I'd say they're a bit more mainstream. They called their newest album an experiment, so obviously it was successful for them.

Not really that impressive...once again, Michael Jackson topped it almost ten times what Lil' Wayne did. But no one really cares about him, so back to John Mayer. :3

I'm listening to "Say" right now after seeing how much you talked about Mayer. It was pretty boring at first, but it caught up. It's okay, but I can't make any immediate positions off of one song. Maybe it's just me, but I have a personal bias to James Blunt.

Nothing to say here.
2) I'm neutral on gay marriage.
I don't see why people should support it. They are humans and should have the same rights as a human.

I see the irony, but it isn't always bad.
4) Regarding abortion: heartbeat (life) is generally agreed to start approximately 3 weeks after conception. Does this mean that there is a three week window in which abortion is fine?

It really depends. Does that include other things forming such as the brain and the nervous system? I'm more biased against abortion when the baby is older than 4 weeks.

Yeah, you're right but unfortunately there is no "mainstream" genre, hense why I said pop!
They're going in the direction The Killers did D:

My favorite songs by him are St. Patrick's Day, Home Life, 3x5, and Something's Missing. But the entire track list that guy has is perfection.

And James Blunt is very good. Wise Men is a perfect song, imo. XD

I'm going to listen to those right now.
sorry klippy, lil waynes going into rock lol
Eww, not another genre. I guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions, but I just have this gut feeling that he will suck at rock as well.
Currently, I am listening to an album by Robert Downey Jr.

Also, Charles Manson made an album, and I listened to it... It's actually not bad. XD
Charles Manson is okay I guess. He is just too creepy for regular music, but I supposed being unique isn't that bad.

i've only listened to thriller, how do you guys like it?

Zombies+good beat=awesome. Math rules.

I know I'm in here a little bit late... Been working on my computers disc drive. :(

Congrats, Percentage, on your tier 5! :D

Back*, Does anybody like Dance/Techno and Pop?

Dance and techno aren't as dynamic as other eletronic genres (like house etc), so I don't like it much... Basshunter comes to mind... It is basically like a beginner's "electronic" music. That when you get into other music, you'd discard Basshunter like it were a used tissue... Yes it is that bad, and I never did like it.

I mean... who needs 3498734289473289639-46423 versions of "Now you're gone" anyway?

Starchild is a raver. XD I love to rave my little butt off. The first song I ever heard at a rave was "I like it loud" followed by "six million ways to die" it was epic. Some techno is good. I have about 400 songs of techno/dance on my ipod, seprate from the music that plays at raves I go to. X3
