Harry potter is the most overrated movie/book ever.
Seriously.

Harry Potter is still awesome, though. :[

The only part I liked is when he stabbed the basilisk in the eye. Everything else was an eyesore. And I liked how fundamentalist groups talked stuff about Dumbledore being homosexual even though the character was fictional.
Yes and no. It's overrated, but not as much so as Twilight.

Yes. Yes, it is.

Don't even get me started on Twilight.
Wannabe emo goth vampire teenage angst filled fools.

It's not that it matters, but I don't believe he was intended to be gay. I believe JK Rowling said it for publicity. >_>

Guys, this may be offtopic, but I feel making an important point here:

As I'm reading some poetry here, I'm like about to cry(exaggeration) because some people like to butcher the language and flow of poetry, and when they plain don't improve and post the same crap(yes, I said it) it makes the reviewers' job even more tedious. >>

Some people just don't have the talent of literacy.
If you go to youtube fairly often, you will see that everywhere you turn.
And OMG your cursed ;__;
Who are you and what have you done with cookie?

I like the Dark Knight...
"Why so serious?!"

A lot of people twist that into a pun for Harry Potter. *shot* But yeah, The Dark Knight is awesome. *nods*

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban creeps me out, actually. I was about nine when it first came out, and it scared the living daylights out of lil' ol' me. I haven't watched it since, even though I know I'd probably be fine with it now.

I had to stop reading that book when I was younger because the Grim and the Dementors creeped me out. ;w; I also hate that part in the movie where the Dementors are flying around and one flies past the camera and you see its face. ;-;-;-; -wuss-

For me, it was the werewolf. It scared the pants off me. Mostly because it resembled a twisted human being with ears more than a wolf. Then because of the Time-Turner thing, I had to watch it again.

I also remember when I went to see the movie, I went with a friend, his brother and their mum. My friend tried to tell some people off for taking the 'reserved' cards off the seats and sitting there, before he was informed that the seats were, in fact, reserved for the people sitting down there. ^_^

good lord, youtube video comments are some of the worst things on the internet

I love horror stuff. The Prisoner of Azkaban was nothing. The Poltergeist is nice. The second one is just messed up though.
I also watch Hell Girl, but I can barely call it horror. xD

The irony is that now, I'm into that sort of stuff. I love a good dark movie. Not always horror, per se, but sadistic, post-apocalyptic or anti-utopian/dystopian movies/books/manga/anime/manga/anime/manga/ohwait and such are my favourites. Read Battle Royale for an example.

That wasn't a real quote. Quit levying the character limit on me. ><

The Battle Royale live action movie was hilarious, in my opinion. XD They'd always give a long-winded speech before they died, then their heads would just flop to one side. XDDD

I think I've watchedd Battle Royale before, but maybe I'm thinking of Casino Royale.

Anyways, this was a featured video. I lol'd when I saw this.

Most examples of dystopic fiction grate against my sensibilities and my suspension of disbelief. It just feels like their creators are just being nihilistic for its own sake rather than to tell a genuinely engaging and plausible story.

I'd gladly take Casino Royale over Battle Royale any day of the week, mainly because the former is just plain better in every way possible.

Well yeah there's that, but it's a whole other thing when there are full-blown "political" arguments taking place, usually with a good amount of conspiracy and racism, and they still manage to type like that.
