I'd rather not sleep for 6 hours since I never wake up without staying in bed for half an hour unless I wake up immediately after finishing a sleep cycle.

Gas prices are exactly why I'd rather travel in a compact medium-sized car that at least has large storage for what I need.

Thing is, I inherited this minivan because it was the cheapest on insurance of my parents three cars, because it's only got liability coverage (and it's the oldest). Plus, it's better than having a Chevy Suburban. And a minivan can make it so you can save gas with your friends by piling into the minivan instead of needing to use two smaller vehicles.

I agree with that, however a minivan's very size could be troublesome. It's like getting four to five times as much space with the cost of gas, yeah?

Minivans have kinda small engines. ;) They don't have the gas-guzzling truck engines, just engines slightly more powerful than sedans with big gas tanks. It's all in how you drive one. And I tend to drive aggressively, because I'm usually in a hurry. ;)
