I was told by some Australians that I had said "aboot" which I swear I recalled not saying it like that at all, though who knows, they probably just wanted to hear me say the word anyway. XD
Needless to say, the closest I've heard people say it is Ontarians (their accents differs slightly), as well as those Americans with the Boston accent.
My accent is a bit different, as for some reason a bit of French (Canadian French) is mixed in there.
Though I've been told I sound like I have a New Zealander accent, an American one and Australian one at one point or another... Though I'm not sure the type of knowledge the person saying that has about the respective countries to come to that decision. XD
EDIT: Nothing really different from Canadian food except for some French Canadian food, and if you really want to go that far, Native food as well... (What I am saying is that Native ethnic food isn't that common to begin with).
