I think we mentioned this before too, but I can't ever recall the Harry Potter fans being as rabid or insane as the Twilight fans when it came from criticisms of their respective favourited series... I know that the Harry Potter series though has been dealt with more criticism, but why is it that the Twilight fans seem to be more protective?

I know Twilight fans are just crazy.

Dang I hate Twilight.

I like to think it's because deep down. the Twilight fans know there's really no reason to like Twilight aside from the fact that it's so easy to insert yourself into Bella's position and live the plot as your own fantasy. 8D;

Nah, I rag on Twilight all the time but it's basically because I cannot fathom why people like it. Or rather, why so many people like it. It's a mediocre book at best (I couldn't even get through it when I tried to read it) and the movies are... idk, okay? I saw the first one. I had no idea what was going on in it and I didn't think it was very good. :(

At least Harry Potter was always an engaging read for me. Then again, I grew up with it so I know I'm biased about the series.

The Twilight books were decent. The first movie was horrid. The second one was good.

No, I am not a Twilight fan, I just think it's okay.

I haven't bothered with the second one. I wasn't paying the price of a movie ticket to see it. :| Maybe I'll watch it when it's on the free movie channels here but I'd have to be really damn bored.

My mum's like "YOU SHOULD READ TWILIGHT, IT A GOOD BOOK FOR TEENAGER!"

Aye, I agree (with Erica).

/was one of those people sucked into Twilight and then got out of it after the second book

//spends too much time on LJ nowadays

//definitely not asking for said person's LJ.

So, who likes a good ol' Agatha Christie murder mystery?

I've been neglecting my LJ lately. :'( Baaaw at having no time.

I've never heard of Agatha Christie. I don't read many books nowadays but my favourite genre has always been sci-fi/thriller anyway.

Agatha Christie wrote "And Then There Were None". And ZUN used quite a few references of her works in Touhou games.

I've been using LJ for RPing. I gotta thank my main's pair for getting me into it <3

I... never quite got into LJ RPing. D: I always wanted to but was too shy to even think about apping anywhere.

I suppose now that dressing rooms and the like are so popular, it'd be a lot easier to dive in, but I just don't have the time anymore. :'(

I actually kinda fail at successfully playing characters without sounding like myself :( I've been trying to improve, but I'm afraid that I'm still make it fairly obvious as to who I play.

I do a crack RP with some close friends on LJ so I don't have to worry much about staying in character or anything but I still worry. All the time. I'd probably just stress myself out if I got into anything serious with people I didn't know. @_@;

Especially when I see fandomsecrets and the like aaaall the time talking about RP drama. I'd just be so paranoid. xD;

>=O You have never 'eard of the great Hercule Poirot?

The one who thinks with his little grey cells?

Shameful, all of you

And I use my LJ for nothing but stalking people.

Wait, whoops.

I've heard of him. And personally, I prefer the lady detective. The one Alice Margatroid supposedly got her last name from.

Marple? Ms. Marple?

I much prefer M. Poirot.

He's too cool, because he knows.

Nah, you don't need to read it. There are like 39 books in all of Poirot, and 13 in Marple, I think.

And "Then There Were None". The one ZUN referenced the most in Touhou, particularly with Flandre in EoSD/Touhou 6 8D

/such a geek
