I never really played MMO's. I have a chartacter in WoW but I've only played for about 3 days. I guess I didn't see it's addiction charm. Or because I actually had a life outside or Warcraft X)

LOL I know! There was this guy on Dr.Phil who was so obsessed with WoW, he had an affair with some female character behind his wife's back and he said, "I don't get why this is such a big deal! She didn't even look like her character!" XD

ew. that's creepy. I can't believe he acted like it was no big deal either! "Well no hunny, no one is a purple skinned elf riding a giant bat from city to city!"
 
Lol... pretty much so... There have been the odd success stories though, like people meeting on WoW and starting a family as a result, playing together on two different computers and such.

Idk... I tried WoW once (10 day trial), and didn't like it, though it was better than Darkfall (which I tried later).
 
Last year, I was addicted to the WoW trial for my whole Christmas break. Then it ended, and realized there was snow outside, which I hadn't seen because of my eyes were glued to the computer screen. But then I had to go to school the next day, so there was no time to play.

Lesson learned: WoW ruins holidays. Don't stray near. Go jump into snow.
 
I used to play WoW all the time. I was addicted to it really bad. One time my Girlfriend called me and wanted me to come over because she was sick and I pretened like the phone was dieing and I couldn't hear her so I didn't have to go over

How did the topic get on Maplestory?

Well, I have a lot to say. First of all, I've spent about $125 on MapleStory Nexon cash, not counting the nexon cards I get for birthday presents every month. I have only three characters above level 30 and one above level 50. It's seriously not addicting if you don't have a lot of NX Cash, because you're surronded by people that do, whilst you look so plain and dull with your job's default armor.

I sounded very nerdy right then
