I'm getting both games :>

I'm just having trouble choosing which game I want.
I like Ho-oh more, but Lugia is clearly superior.
 
I can't wait for HeartGold and Ragnarok Online DS. I'm Actually biking to Gamestop this time. XD
 
I've never heard of Ragnarok Online DS in my whole life.

Although I am interested in seeing what the hubbub is over Dragon Force for the Saturn.
9.5 average from 65 users on GameFAQS isn't that bad at all.

It's in the top 10 for DS games.

I think I'll avoid it until I get more of an idea of what it is.
Even then, I still need to get Sands of Destruction first.
 
Ragnarok DS got bad reviews. A pity. I was interested in it.

I like Lugia much more than Ho-oh but mostly I'm getting gold because of ARIADOS.
 
I looked at ariados's stats on Smogon and I don't think I'll actually be using it in my team -3-;

Looking at:
Chikorita (duh, starter)
Sentret (HM slave)
Chinchou (as soon as I get old rod or w/e)
Togepi (hatch it after getting egg in violet city)
Zubat? (Love crobat but Togekiss will eventually be flying...)
PSYCHIC (undecided... what psychic do you get early in HGSS?!)

EDIT: I'm like looking over Serebii... might go with Gastly in the psychic slot. Zubat could easily be traded out for a fire type if I find one I like, or a BUG type <3

EDIT2: I hope i'm lucky enough to grab a scyther in the bug catching contest.

I have no idea what my team is going to be. @_@ I'm tempted to trade over a Cherubi to use but at the same time... I kind of want my playthrough to be untainted and just filled with nostalgia... so nothing new. D: I'll probably decide on the day-of, haha.

I just know my starter is gonna be Totodile just like it was 10 years ago. :'D
 
Yeah definitely just bask in the nostolgia! Don't ruin it with importing sinnoh pokemon into a time when life was much simpler D:

Was that racist? Like I don't think it was. But I feel like it could be misconstrued.
 
I dunno What to do for my starter. In the original Gold I had Chikorita. With Crystal, I don't remember. I didn't play it very long.

I think I'll just do opposite of what ever my brother chooses XD
 
I'm gonna get mah Chikorita! Just like I had the first time I played Silver. Ah, the memories! ^_^
 
I'm going to choose Cyndaquil in HeartGold and Totodile in SoulSilver.

I'll probably just port my team over from Platinum XD

But, then you have the problem of your Pokemon not obeying you.

I'll pick stinky Chickorita like I did in Gold.
 
I'm going to start off with Cyndaquil, then i'm going to import a Starly from Pt (because I hate Hoothoot and Pidgey, such crappy moves they learn.. and I don't really want to use a Zubat/Golbat/Crobat) and get the rest of my team in SoulSilver.

I've not decided one the rest of the team yet, but I know i'm going to use a Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion and a Starly/Staravia/Staraptor.
 
If I do decide to get HG/SS I'll probably get Cyndaquil I'll use the Red Gyrados for a water type and a Bellsprout/Oddish for a grass type.

And I like Pidgeot so That's what I'll be using for a flying type. ;3
