I won't get a chance to play the game until May but I'll probably choose my old standby Cyndaquil. I've also decided on Ampharos, Starmie, and Persian (despite its fugly new HG/SS sprite), either Golem or Nidoking, and... haven't decided on #6, though it may be Pidgeot.
 
I haven't decided on my team yet...all I know for sure is that I'm having an Ampharos on my team in both games :p
 
Ampharos is definitely a favourite for most people including me and I think a lot of people will have one on their team.

I know I will. XD

I'm not really going to base my decision on reviews ever since The Lost Symbol got a bad review and I ACTUALLY enjoyed reading it. ;w;

Anyway's I'm importing my old Johto team from Gold. (Yes it sucks for tourneys and in-game but I <3 them ;o; )

Totodile/Feraligatr (Starter)
Ampharos (Teh Johto Pikachu)
Pidgeot/Noctowl (Flyer)
Xatu (Favorite PKMN Filler)
Jumpluff (Grass/Filler/HM Slave)
Furret (HM Slave)

I am going to get a Crobat in one of them and Pidgeot in the other...haven't decided which yet, though. Still, I've got *counts* 15 days to think about it :)
 
I've never trained Jumpluff or Xatu. :/

I think I'll get a Sneasel from platinum so it get's that EXP boost. ;3

I already have my HG team planned out, just not my SS one.

Well, not including my imported SS, of course, where I already have seven Pokemon for my main team, two of them being traded (Porygon2, traded from imported Platinum, and shiny Noctowl from someone else).

Speaking of which, I've been thinking of restarting my Diamond and using a Chatot as my starter instead of Piplup once I can trade over Wi-Fi XD /anyone wanna help me
 
I'm torn between using Gizamimi Pichu or training a Mareep. D:

But only because I've never really trained a Mareep before... if I am doing this for the nostalgia, I guess a Pichu is the only way to go. But then I'll be torn between nicknaming her "Gizamimi" and "Lightning" fffff. D: I think I'll end up winging it with my entire team, lmao. I just can't think ahead in this rate. D8

I think I could purchase HGSS on Sunday, but I might not even get to play it for a week or two later because of school/work, so what's the point? Though I may not be able to resist, haha
 
I'm getting both on Sunday, though I won't be able to get SS 'til I return to Maryland. Oh well, I have it imported, so it doesn't matter too much XD

Thank goodness I don't have new DS games to occupy the DS slot but instead PSP games to occupy the PSP slot.
 
Yeah, no matter how much I decide beforehand I end up getting taken by certain pokemon after I actually catch them :s Don't know why I bother with all the planning.
 
Monster Hunter 2: Freedom Unite and Star Ocean: First Departure.

I also have Monster Hunter 2: Freedom (slight differences between this one and the one mentioned above), Dissidia, Riviera, Yggdra Union, FFVII (directly in the memory card thingy), and Crisis Core.
 
Ew WTF, you don't even have Second Evolution.

Ugh I don't like Monster Hunter. Was really excited to get it once I got a PSP but it is so slowwww. And like wtf, all the weapons are SO SLOW.
 
I won't be getting HG/SS till May, when I head home for the summer. And no PSP for me, despite the fact there are some good RPG's out for it right now...
