There's this thing that still bothers me..
The Entei that appeared in the 3rd Pokemon movie, was just made up by the unknown right?
Not the real thing..
I'm probably wrong, I don't remember as much..
 
I don't watch the TV show at all, so it wouldn't matter if Combee was a character to me.
 
I believe they do have Entei appear later in Johto (or maybe it was Hoenn, idk).

I remember someone wanted to use a Misdreavus and its Mean Look to catch it, but the Entei used Roar, sent the Misdreavus back to its Poke Ball, and got away.
 
Misdreavus was the focus of today's episode in the Anime XD;
Well, it and Murkrow.

I really want to train one of them now for HG/SS. I'm not sure which one though >3>;
I'm thinking the former. XD;

Recently I only have read Loveless (gay) and one volume of Zombie Loan.
 
I totally think a Cherubi should belong to one of the main characters but at the same time, I really don't because the English pronunciation for Cherubi/Cherrim is so fail and it would kill me to listen to people say its name every time. D:

Not that I even know what Ash's team is right now anyway. @_@ I'm so, so behind.

As for the other topic, I don't reach manga much anymore. The only graphic novel I've read in the last year is one I bought of a webcomic I adore. :(
 
The manga I've been reading include Detective Conan, PokeSupe, and Fairy Tail, though the latter two I have to wait for new chapters to be uploaded :> I recently started Conan and I'm only in the 100s, so I've got plenty to read through XD

How the heck IS Cherubi/Cherrim pronounced? (sees it as "Che-ru-bee" and "Chair-rim", but...)
 
I prounounce the "cher" in both of them like it is in "cherry" (because that is what they are based on, fffff) but according to this book I have, it's actually "Chuh-ruby" and "Chuh-rim". Ick. D:

...whoa deja vu. I think I've made this exact post before in the DCC and I know Paul was here last time I did. XD;
 
Yeah. x_x; Cherubi is based off a CHERRY and Cherrim is based off of CHERRY blossoms. It just makes SENSE that you would pronounce them that way then.

So of course they bastardize the pronunciation instead. >:(

Ugh, I about died with Rayquaza's pronunciation. I don't like Arceus's pronunciation as much either.

I never buy the guidebooks. Those people are too stupid to remember that before they release the game in USA, there's more than 100 written guides on the net.
 
I think it is "Ar-kay-us". /saw the movie once, but I was paying more attention to LJ at the time
 
The movie apparently aired on TV here but I don't... have cable, so I couldn't see it anyway. (Would've called home and asked my family to PVR it for me had I found out BEFORE it aired. D8)

I'm anxiously awaiting the DVD. I really want to see Gizamimi Pichu. ;_;
 
Same here, for me. And that so won't be changing any time soon. I usually force myself to conform to English pronunciations of things once they're released but this one I just refuse to. XD

I should totally trade the shiny Pichu in my imported SS to my English SS once I get it and permanently make Gizamimi part of my SS team (which I still don't have developed; I should probably make a blog entry with future teams so I don't forget).
