The one's I looked into were all about $800.. I feel so cheap.

Seconding this. o_O;

Either just get one laptop that you can bring with you to classes and whatnot or, if you need something more portable, get a cheap netbook and spend the rest on a desktop. No need for two portable computers, seriously.

:'D I have a netbook and a desktop and it's fabulous.

I'm still not entirely sure what the exact difference is between the two. x__x I'm one of those people who're stuck with a desktop PC, and know little about laptops.. aside from the fact that I want one. xD;
 
I would rather have a labtop....and then at school I can just play my games at school with people going.. "WTF?"
 
Laptops are really nice. I had to buy a new one because someone stole mine out of my car :'C

Don't lie to us Drew, just admit that you got it mixed up for NU/W.
 
i don't have a laptop and even though they are more portable i would rather just have a really good desktop. really no point in carrying around a laptop just for school when i could just do it the old fashion way and write it out. besides laptops are prone to accidents or loosing them. just do everything on my desktop.
