Sakuraba is kind of hit and miss for me these days. I love some of his soundtracks but they all start sounding exactly the same after a while.I love soundtracks, especially ones composed by Shoji Meguro and Motoi Sakuraba.
I agree. He has his own sound going, but...a lot of the tunes sound exactly the same.Sakuraba is kind of hit and miss for me these days. I love some of his soundtracks but they all start sounding exactly the same after a while.
n_n I love love loved his OST for Eternal Sonata, though. I think it might be his best (that I've heard, anyway).
I haven't played an FF game, but I have the OSTs from game I-VI. Of those, I think IV and VI are my favourites. VI is an absolute masterpiece score.Nobuo Uematsu makes so many memorable tracks. :3
It's not particularly catchy (to me anyway, his stuff doesn't stay in my head very long). But, its just really well-done. A really well-thought out and cohesive work. And amazing what he got out of the SuperNES.I still haven't listened to VI's OST. :s I stiiiill want to play the game first but I don't see myself having the time for it so I should really just... listen to it.
