I love how they did him in the live action movies. Especially the scene with the train and he's all: 8D at the window~

Reminds me, gotta sort mah Matt cosplay out~

Don't you mean Ghastly Wail? Shadow Mitsuo doesn't have Mamudo in his move pool, or so the Megami Tensei Wiki says. He was able to get my team with Evil Smile at least once, but he was never able to follow up with Ghastly Wail because I kept a stockpile of Sedatives and kept Me Patra in Konohana Sakuya's move pool as a contingency for such a situation. As for Black Frost, I had already fused him as part of Margaret's Social Link, and I didn't feel like dismissing him because I knew he'd be useful (the aforementioned tactic of Agidyne/Garudyne spam with Yukiko and Yosuke). Whatever works for me, I suppose.

Galactic Punt can be invaluable in random encounters, yes. For the boss fights, though, I think I should make a habit of deploying Kanji instead of Chie from now on.

Mechanically, one could say it's equal parts Pokémon (acquiring Personas, using them in combat, and fusing them to acquire more powerful ones), traditional dungeon crawler (ascending Tartarus in 3 and journeying into the TV World in 4 to fight Shadows), and dating sim (social interaction plays a major role outside of combat and can influence how strong your Personas are through the concept of Social Links). Thematically, it owes a lot to the theories of Carl Jung, 4 far more so than 3.

If you have a PS2 and a PSP, I'd suggest getting both Persona 4 and Persona 3 Portable. I'd stay away from the original Persona 3 due to certain faulty mechanics (no full team control and the stupidity of the allied AI comes to mind).

Todd Haberkorn as Death the Kid is awesome, I agree. As for Troy Baker as Excalibur, I still need to get further in the series so I can actually hear him for myself; does he sing the song, at least?
 
Finished watching. The ending didn't get me teared up though. It's one of the most creepiest anime out there. Really though, I barely understanded half of it.

Thanks, I don't have a PS2 but I have a PSP. Looking forward to it because it sounds interesting. I didn't play my PSP for a while.

Yeah, that's what I meant. xD; I've been playing a lot of P3 recently to get back in the swing of it for P3P, therefore am a bit rusty with P4 enemy movepools etc. .

And yes, he does sing the song (on numerous occasions) and it's now stuck in my head. Again. x_x;
 
You mean Episode 10.5? I'll watch it tommorow. Well, gotta go back to Yu-Gi-Oh GX and complete childhood memories. 5D kinda sucked though =/. Watched one episode and went lol because there was some Yugi Moto wannabe and also a Seto Kaiba wannabe.

I loved that dub, all except for Black Star, who sounded so female at first that it wasn't even funny. D:

& Now I want to play P4.. Again.
