:( A 30gb hard drive was pretty small even four years ago. I don't know how you manage. @_@

Nehhhh

At the moment. only computer I have is my little netbook. works fine, but i do wish i had a my desktop so i could play some games :|

It still has alot of space though. ouo
ive only used like 20gb out of 144

My four year old computer had 512MB of ram and a 80GB Hard Drive. XD

I wonder if there are any sub 1TB solid state drives currently. XD;

I still need a separate video card for my current desktop, but I haven't been playing any newer games at the moment. And I need a new external hard drive already, since my brother is also using mine, and mine's only 500 GB, and it's serving as file storage for three computers. D;

My desktop's currently got what many would luxurious 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB of HDD space (of which I've only got 200 GB free, and that's dwindling fast), and a triple-core processor that I haven't bothered to make a quad-core yet.

I can't find any SSDs over 1 TB in size at the moment, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

i have to get a 1tb hdd for my computer to ripp all my dvds to it. kinda sucks right now cause my computer only has a 160 gb hdd.

Depending on how many DVDs you have, that's not gonna be enough. Each DVD is 4.7 GB

They're getting cheaper and cheaper. I still remember when 100GB was like omg huge. :(

I feel old ugh. *dies*

I remember when 200 GB was HUGE back when I first got my own PC 5 years ago.

My computer which is just over a year old has a 2 GB of ram and an 80 GB hard drive.

:(

Old hard drive from my old computer is old.

I don't really mind how much space is on my hard drive since it's probably going to die in a few years anyway. The best thing to have is an external hard drive.

I want to get a very up-to-date laptop and put an 80GB-120GB SSD in it because they're quicker, better quality, and last much longer. I assume they use less power too.

Then I want to get a 1TB HDD. :3

I don't know why but I've always much prefered a desktop to my laptop. Even now, I'm hoping to give this laptop to my dad in exchange for some money to buy a new desktop

I have a 1TB external drive and I think my desktop has 500gb? (And my netbook has 120gb, I think.) I'm still slowly starting to run out of space. XD;

I prefer desktops over laptops too. It used to be the other way around but I've gotten so used to my desktop that I think I'd feel a bit restricted by a laptop now, if that even makes sense.

Do you mean restricted in the sense that you can't update it as extensively as you can a desktop? At least..easily?

I've got 1480 GB of total space according to the manufacturers, which really means 1370/1380 GB in actuality (because the two 500 GB are really 465 GB, and the 320 GB is really either 300 GB or 290 GB, plus my two 80 GB HDDs for other OSes in my desktop are really at about 75 GB) , and I've got about 630 GB free. Of course, between 50-90 GB is going to Vista, 7, and XP combined, so there's a lot of my space right there.

I quit PC for reasons involving school, but I'm back now!
