6th Gen The Delta Episode Speculation

Nice theory. I could easily see this happening.
PS: I never played X or Y, but I do know about the laser weapon, but what scene was that laser shot from the picture from?

It's from pokemon X and Y when Team Flare is trying to use the weapon.

The key is that it's a theory. That means it hasn't been proven, and could very well be entirely false, a complete coincidence, or something different. There's nothing to spoil, we all know the scene in RSE where the player is talking to the head of Devon Corporation.

My point is, this isn't a spoiler and therefore there's no reason for him to put a warning before the link.
 
@ Pepperton Uh, that Mr. Steven scene is new, it's not the same one from early in the originals.

Anyways I read some speculation two days ago in Pokejungle and someone mentioned Episode Delta starts after you defeat Liza and Tate most likely due to the pillar of Emerald light that appears once you come out of their gym. I think that may have some truth to it, with the ending coming post game similar to the Suicune side story.

The thing is that AZ fired the same laser 3000 years before, around Deoxys' creation.
 
I am very excited for this! I've always wanted Deoxys and to be able to travel to space is amazing! Can't wait to find out the story behind Zinnia.

That theory of shared timeline falls apart when you consider XY and B2W2 share the timeline according to a worker at GF, with BW two being years before, GSCHgSsDPP happening some unknown time before that, and RGBFrLgRSE(OrAs) being three years before the Gen II/IV games. There's also in game proof to back that up such as Plasma having once been defeated in Unova being mentioned in XY, Cynthia in BW mentioning the Giratina events, and Platinum as we know shares the time line with GSCHgSs which is backed up by the filming at of the Red Gyarados at the start in DP. GSCHgSs take place after RGBFrLg as mentioned in those sequels. FrLg mentions Hoenn in the post game, but that one isn't much proof. Oh but Steven in HgSs does mention the main character of RSE, saying that Ethan/Lyra remind him of someone (which is what Cynthia says of the main character of DPP to the BW main character, and what N says of the BW player to the B2W main character.)

I wonder if this the Delta Episode will involve the meteors. Btw I have a feeling Deoxys may get a Mega in Z...maybe something involving the extra meteor in XY (even if one could just change it's forme using just one of the five meteors).
 
Well, Im really hyped about this new Postgame episode. I just hope that the fight in space has a really cool mechanic. Hopefully nothing disappointing like SkyBattles.

Why are there so many legendary pokemon like the golems, lake guardians, the fighting types, weather trio, and stuff in this game? I think they are going a little over the top...

Well I know that some legendaries found in Mirage Spots can only be found in certain versions. Such as Mewtwo being found in both, but Dialga being found in Ruby and Palkia being found in Sapphire. So I wouldn't be surprised by a split up trio.
 
It's pretty much for getting those legendaries to be used in VGC since they will get the Pentagon saying they are from gen 6.
