    And for those who the link won't work:

    Proposed Dutch law would ban unsolicited toe-licking

    A police spokesman said Friday a man had been detained after women sunning themselves in Rotterdam's parks and beaches claimed he had snuck up on them and begun to lick their toes.

    "The officers had to let him go. Licking a stranger's toes is rather unusual but there is really nothing criminal about it," the spokesman said.

    Dutch press reports said the man, who is about 35, had been licking the toes of strangers for about three years but was only recently caught by police.

    Peter van Heemst, a Labor member of parliament, asked Christian Democrat Justice Minister Piet Hein Donner Friday to explain why Dutch laws forbid littering but not uninvited toe-licking. Van Heemst demanded an amendment prohibiting it.

    "It is a violation of one's privacy and one's physical integrity," he told a local news agency. "The norm... is that no one should touch your body if you haven't asked them first."

    A spokesman for Donner said the minister could not immediately comment.

    My goodness...that's stupid and desterbing(sp) at the same time...

    Both, both indeed.

    Just plain old disturbing. XD

    Man that is just weird, dosn't the dutch have a law for harassment?

    Here in the states you can sue for something like that.

    Wow so a total stranger was licking other peoples toes??? Theres some creepy people out there.... 0_0

    Well it's a european country, I think they consider it romantic.

    Except in England, they are almost identical to americans in some ways.

    That is just wrong on so many levels... I swear, now you're going to see a bunch of teens going around a licking people's toes here, until it gets banned too, just for the "fun" of it. I swear, hormones do some craaazy sh- err, shtuff, yeah, that's it, shtuff. :cheeky:

    No Not Toe-Licking, Actually Dutch people have banned alot of things, so I'm not surprised. I love dutch people...their funny ^_^... My father had many Dutch Clients..but I don't know if they went up and licked random people's toes...

    If someone licks my toes, they're going to be missing a mouthful of teeth...

    That's sort of a strange law to pass...but I mean the lickers will just start licking hands or eyes if they can't lick toes then, and I think toe-licking is a lot less dangerous than eye-licking or neck-licking or anything like that...well, I'm never planning to travel to Dutchland so I won't have to worry about the Dutchians and their laws I guess o_O

    It is a good law though, its uselesness aside...

    Oh God, I would be so freaked out if some random guy on the beach started licking my toes...0.o

    Weirdos

    "How strangely erotic."
    </inside joke>
    This is seriously sick and wrong... If some stranger came up to me and licked my toes.... Ugh I don't even want to think about it... How weird is it to outlaw toe-licking... I mean with all the problems in the world, they take the time to outlaw toe-licking.... I admire the government because it's the small stuff that matters!
    </sarcasm>

    They can simply just say "that classifies as an invasion of private space" to avoid getting into all of those wasted cash of adding a new law into the book... you can't imagine how much time, effort and cash are being wasted to pass a new law, and over something so stupid, is a complete waste.
