(wow, i guess i didnt embrass myself as bad as i thought) i was stregthened by the fact they they actually wanted to talk to me; most people i would've talk to back when i lived at home were either drunk or they were forced to. "Well, im originally from Jangura Village, a little ways to the west of here. But i ran away from home and hid in the forest when i was 10, and stayed in the forest till the village elder found me and asked me to come here." i didnt say anything about the elder saying i was the chosen one, i didnt want to intimidate anyone. "Sooooooooooo," I cast around through my mind for a topic. "Anyone hungry?"

  • "Not really," I muttered. "I don't eat much, then again, where I am from, there is hardly anything eat anyways." My stomach growled a bit, "Although, maybe right now I am slightly hungry, but hunger never bothers me anyways." I looked over at Yuuki, she seemed to be lost in thought. I turned back to Marasu, "Well, I assume you want to eat." I looked up at the sky, sun was bright, brighter then ever, I could feel every once of energy (if I actually had any) being drained away. My body felt like it has being compressed, harder to breathe. "Hey, Yuuki... is it always this sunny here?" I knelt on the ground. It was harsh effects on me. Not just am I of the Dark Element, but I'm used to living in the dark, and such intense light hurt, badly. I got up slowly, "Well lets go, say, is there a not-so bright place to eat here? Sorry, I hate light.."

Yuuki's reverie broke the instant her name was called, and she glanced back down to Juodas and Marasu. "The sun?" Her voice was blank and somewhat airy; nothing like her original upbeat tone. "Well yeah, it's usually sunny around here." Granted, she wouldn't admit that the brightness today was unusual, for fear of perturbing them in any manner. After all, she had only just met them, and she didn't want them to be leaving so soon.

She noticed Juodas collapse onto one knee, and she was suddenly concerned. Sure, she had heard rumors of Yoru City, but she didn't believe half of the lore she heard in the Village Square.

"The closest thing I can think of that has food in the shade is the ramen shop in the village square," she said, placing a finger beneath her chin thoughtfully. "Would you both like to go there?"

  • (OOC: Sorry, KS, my days were booked. I'm still in though, right? cool)

Kensune layed on the beach of the great mountain. Ever since his step-parents told him of his fate-to-come, his life wis filled a little with grief. As cunning as Kensune may have been, leadership is one responsibility he would never want. "Well, as long as I'm here" He sighed, looking at the imense sea that laid ahead of him like a vast blanket of eternal length, "I might as well try to find someone here." He slowly got up, and looked at his belt. "Come to think of it" He says to himself with discontent, " I think Bellsprout and Tentacool need a little air. BELLSPROUT! TENTACOOL!" he shouts as he releases two pokeballs "Come on out!" The two pokemon appear before him, Bellsprout on the beach, and Tentacool in the water. "How ya doing?!" Kensune cheerfully asked his two pokemon?
Bellsprout and Tentacool cheerfully respond with their own cries. "That's good! Very good indeed!" Kensune replied "In fact, this is probably the highpoint of my last few days. I'm glad I came across you two, we're like inseprable!" Bellsprout lets out a gleeful cheer, but Tentacool, however, lets out a painful, moaning like growl. "Huh?" Kensune asks, shocked. "What's wrong, Tentacool? Let me see..." Kensune picks up tentacool, careful of not touching the stingers. "Hmmmmm..." He hums, examining Tentacool. "Well, it looks like an ordinary stomach-ache" Kensune says with releif. "Nothing a few Pecha and Chesto berries can't handle!" Kensune goes to look in his backpack, which resembles a miniature hikers pack, for Pecha berries and Chesto berries, but to his dismay, finds only one Chestoi berry. "Dang!" He says. "I guess I should have payed more attention to my supplies. Lesse... I need two more Chesto berries and two Pecha berries" Kensune takes a pokeball "But for now, you stay in your pokeball, Tentacool." Kensune returns Tentacool. "In fact" He said "I'm returning you too, Bellsprout" He holds the pokeball and returns Bellsprout. "Well, no use sitting aroun here" He says with a positive tone in his voice "Better find those berries! Oh, before I forget..." Kensune pulls out a bottle and fills it with water from the ocean "I need this for the medicine. The water looks pure enough"
Kensune fixes the cap on the bottle, "Okay then, Lets go!" Kensune says as he whips out his guitar, gathers all his things, and walks away from the beach, playing a harmonic tune

  • I went to the local ramen shop to eat some ramen that I heard was the best in the village. While on my way there I noticed a stray parasol that looked brand new but was laying on the ground. I picked it up and carried it with me. "This might be a good gift for the Dark kid , since I know that he or she hates light."

I ordered some bamboo shoot ramen and I was told that it would be ready in twenty minutes. I sighed as my stomach gave out a slight growl.

~Hungry , Daisuke?~ Asked Giradina telepathically. I had a sip of water when I replied. ~Yeah , very.~ I got out my ocarina and started to play a light melody that seemed to enchant everyone in the ramen shop.

OOC: For the Love of! ;) I was only gone for a few hours...

AJ was tired, not just normal tired but very tired. He had been running for the majority of the trip, from Hyouga Cove to Seteki Village, AJ was a born runner and he had taken track but he probally wasn't as fast as the lightning child. AJ looked at his map, he was indeed close to the village, only about a mile in.

AJ heard his ringtone, It was the "Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone Complex" Opening theme. AJ flipped open the cell and asked " Hello?" only to be replied with, " Hello AJ!" it was chirpy voice, of a girls and AJ knew immediatly " Misty!" he said into the phone excitedly, " How are you doing?" He asked lamely, not really knowing what else to say. " Oh I'm just training here." She replied, " I've missed you, and I will see you soon, well sooner or later" He said to his fiance romantically.

" I hope so, Oh, I've gotta go! I love you!" She hastidly said, " I love you to. Goodbye for now" He said into the phone, a goodbye from the other end and then a click.
AJ suddenly had more energy and ran the rest of the way into town, his fuel supplied from his soon to be wife, he rubbed his engagment ring.

AJ soon made it into town and his stomach growled visiously, he sighed and walked into a nearbye ramen shop. The place was filled with an enchanting music, but AJ was still thinking about Misty to really notice, He ordered a small bowl of plain ramen and a large bowl of salad with green tea to drink.

  • "Huh, alright I guess, I'm not much of a ramen fan though." I barely managed to get out with another deep yawn. "Maybe we can just buy some food, then eat somewhere in the shade?" I looked around for a place to rest. Then I remembered why i came here, "Hey, Yuuki, do you know why were all gathering here?" i said, feeling somewhat lost. I grabbed my staff and stuck it in the ground, with orb near my face, "So, you wanted me here, now what?" I asked it. I sighed and put on my back, "stupid thing." I muttered. I started to walk, away from the town square, to find park or something, with trees, big trees, with shade. I came across a large oak tree, about one and a half metres in diameter, "This looks good." I jumped up to a thick limb that was only about 5 feet off from the ground. I laid down and relaxed as the branches higher up, along with the leave helped keep the sun away from my eyes.

  • (OOC: AFGH, sorry it took me so long to start! I had no idea this had started already. ^^; )

Tsukiko's scowl deepened as she brushed a tuft of brown hair from her face for about the umpteenth that day.
Today was the day that she was to visit the Seiteki Village, to 'fufill her duty as Soukutsu Town's Chosen One', as her father had put it. And of course, she had protested(Why wouldn't she? Seiteki town was surely nothing compared to her hometown. The idea of visiting the place was degrading.), to no avail, obviously, as she was heading towards the dreaded place on her family's yacht. Judging from the ever-brightening and evermore-annoying sun, she was getting closer to her destination.

The young teenager glanced back at her Pokemon, Riley and Francene. The Shuppet and Fuwante(Respectively.) looked just as uncomfortable, if not more than she was. Of course, she could understand why, in their case: It was a well known fact that Ghosts and bright sunlight didn't exactly mix too well. Granted, it wasn't horribly lethal as some might like to believe, but it was quite an annoyance to the two nonetheless. And of course, with her Pokemon being so lightweight, the wind wasn't helping matters much.
Tsukiko didn't know whether to be amused or to feel pity when Riley began to vigorously protest as a strong gust of wind pushed the two back a few feet. (Francene, being the way she was, didn't voice her opinion, but it was quite obvious from her expression that she really wanted to. Being a balloon Pokemon, wind was obviously not something she was fond of.) The trainer ended up expressing the mix of the two in the end, as she found herself chuckling as she recalled the two back into their Pokeballs.

Then, as if right on cue, the yacht arrived at their destination, earning a huge sigh of relief from the young girl. (She hated traveling. It always made her wait: Something she never liked to do.)
Immediately, one of the many bodyguards Tsukiko's father had hired came to escort her off the yacht, leaving a scowl on her face. While she was happy to be off the ship, the fact that she had an escort perturbed her. She was perfectly capable of doing this alone, but no, her father had insisted that she be under constant supervision.

As the two walked towards their destination, they walked by a ramen stand, which piqued Tsukiko's curiosity. She didn't know why, but she felt... compelled to join the other teens that were there. It was really strange.
Hoping to find out why she had that feeling by joining them, the girl stopped in her tracks, folding her arms over her chest.

"I'm hungry. Let's go to that ramen stand over there."

The guard gave her a perplexed look.

"Why the ramen stand? There's plenty of food back at the yacht, and besides, I don't think your father would want you dwelling in such... common places."

Tsukiko huffed, clearly annoyed. She knew that this was going to happen... it always did.
Not that it mattered: Eventually, she was going to get what she wanted. Turning on her heel, she headed towards the ramen stand anyway, stating in a matter-of-fact manner, "I'm going there, and there's nothing you can do about it. Oh, and just stay over there: I don't want you hovering over my shoulder as I eat."

Now the guard was looking annoyed himself.

"Miss Tsukiko, you know I can't do that. Your father insisted that I constantly keep you under my watchful eye."

Tsukiko merely grinned, pointing to the stand.

"But I will be under your 'watchful eye', see? You can clearly see what's going on from here."

    "Well, yes, but-"

"But nothing! I'm going over there, you're staying over here, and there's nothing you can do about it. After all, if you don't do what I say, all I have to do is tell daddy that you did something bad, and, poof! No paycheck for you!"

The guard was clearly perturbed, but eventually gave in. She did have a point, after all.

    "Yes, ma'am."

Tsukiko gave a malicious grin that would have made her inner spirit proud, then continued to make her way into the ramen stand. She was going to find out what was drawing her to the people there, whether her bodyguard wanted to or not.

(OOC: Whew... I hope that's good enough. And I hope I succeeded in making Tsukiko a snotty little brat. XD; )

As they made their way towards the village square, Yuuki looked at Juodas curiously. "Err...gathering?" she said, feeling completely out of the loop. "What are you talking about?" She blinked several times. Yes, there had been an odd wave of new people entering the village, but she hadn't heard anything about a gathering. Her dark gold eyes fell onto the orb in his hand. "What's that?" she asked, hoping she didn't sound as blunt as she thought she did. She craned her neck in an attempt to get a better view of it, but failed miserably.

"Pi pi!" Pichu exclaimed, pointing up ahead to the ramen shop in the clearing. Yuuki's gaze was averted, and she saw that other unfamiliar people were waiting there.

"I wonder what's going on..." Yuuki mumbled, lost in thought.

  • I looked down towards Yuuki, "Gathering, havn't you noticed all the people from other villages or cities? I mean, didn't you take in the fact that you havn't seen me, nor have you seen Marasu before either, we weren't from these villages. I think I've seen a few others that aren't from here either, but I wouldn't be sure, as I don't know anyone in this village. I looked around, the skies were darkening, and it day was turning into night. The coldness of the shade starting to fill the streets. "Finally" I said with a smooth tone. "no more sun."

  • Kensune always seemed to get lost while playing his guitar, as if noone or nothing else existed. It was his special way to "get away from it all" Kensune was just in the middle of his "Iron man" riff by Black Sabboth, when he spotted some bushes. "Hmmm..." Kensune hummed, examining the bushes. "Yes!" He said, with much exitement "These are berry fruiting bushes! There are rawst bushes, and sitrus bushes, and even pinap bushes, and"
Kensune notices a partiucular bush "Huh... Pinken berries?! arent these supposed to be in the pinken isand?" Kensune looks around and starts whistling while picking the pinken bush. "Thirty should be enough" He says with a chuckle. "Now to look around some more..." After finding the desired bushes, filling his pack with all of the berries that the bushes produce for future refference, and made the medicine, Tentacool felt like new again. "how's the stomach, Tentacool?" Kensune asked. Tentacool eplied with a gleeful screech. "That's great!" Kensune said with a smile. "Now to return you" He says as he returns Tentacool. Now to go who knows where. He said as he began to play "Symphany of destruction" by Megadeath. About a half an hour later, he spots a ramen shop. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOh!" Said Kensune, with much inthusiasm "Ramen-san! now that I think about it, it's been a while since I last ate. I'm hungry!" He proclaimed as he entered the ramen house. When he entered, the manager stopped him. "Hey you!" He said with an irritated tone in his voice. Kensune just looks at him and responds "yes, did I do something wrong?" The manager eplies "Not yet, but your band better show up on friday, there's a lot of people wanting to see "The reaper squad"! Kensunes only response was "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." followed by "I'm sorry, sir, but I think you have me confused with someone else." The manager looks at him and replies "Oh.... sorry!" Go ahead!" Kensune shakes his head and approaches the counter, ordered two bowls of beef ramen and a large drink and, looked for a place to sit, when he spotted some teens at a table. "Say" he said with an opportunistic tone in his voice "people I can relate to!" He sits down with them "Mind if I sit here?" he asks.

  • I heard people talking about the 'gathering' , which was apparently the one I was waiting for. I stopped playing the ocarina and went over to the people. "Ah , so you're in the meeting huh? I take it that you're the other elementals?"

I looked at the kid with the pichu. I guessed that she was the lightning elemental. I then looked at the kid who was relieved that the sunlight was going away. I knew at once that he was the dark element. He was glad to find them , since he was looking for the lightning chosen to be a guide in a way and had a gift for the Dark chosen.

"Here , a gift for the kid of darkness!" I said as I handed him a black and red parasol with a Darkrai on it. I looked back over to my seat as my ramen was ready , with dumplings as the appetizer. "*sniiiiiff!* Smells so good! Itadakamasu!" I said as I started to stir the ramen and put the first bit into my mouth with oriental chopsticks.

  • "Hey! Have you payed for that yet?!?" an angry Elias asked as he glared at the kid who had just begun eating the ramen his rival chef had prepared moments before.

"Quiet!" the head chef yelled, smacking him behind the head, "Shut yer gob and cook! You challenged me to this idiotic contest, and so far yer Pokemon have been doin' all the work!"

"Fine, fine," Elias groaned, returning to the noodle dough that he and his Chikorita had been stretching a moment before, "But you'll be sorry when I win. It'll bring my family glory for generations."

"What?" the chef asked, scratching his forehead.

"Nothing," Elias continued, yanking the pasta dough in time with his Pokemon, "Just joking around. Get back to your broth, old man."

"Old man!? Why I oughtta-" the cook began, but was interrupted as a small, green gecko-like Pokemon leaped off of his head, landing beside Elias.

<Come on bro, the broth is simmered.!> the small Pokemon commanded. Elias nodded, before winking at his Pokemon. A grin spread over the tiny treecko's face, and he leapt to the counter where the Chikorita stood, using a pair of her vines to stretch the pasta dough as long and thin as she could. Without warning, the Treecko pulled a pair of small, painstakingly sharpened sticks from the toughened grass bindings on his back, and quickly and expertly used them to first cut the dough into thin strips, then chop it into smaller noodles. Elias was ready, and grabbed the fragments of noodle as they fell from his Chikorita's vines, dumping them into a pot of nearby water.

"Thanks, Audrey," Elias breathed, wiping a hand across his forehead, "Couldn't have done it without you."

<Can it buster,> the Chikorita hissed, wiping a vine across her forehead, <You owe me big time now. In the future, leave me out of these stupid challenges.>

    "Deal." Elias said, nodding.

  • OOC: Alright, you're accepted, but for future preference, you should have a longer and more descriptive sign up on your characters. ^.^

IC: "No." I said to the rambunctious kid. "I don't need a parasol, if you hadn't notice, I wear a hat," I pointed up to my magician-like hat, "Having a parasol wouldn't help, plus, I don't like them". I said sternly. I tipped it down, making even my eyes no longer visible. I jumped back up onto the limb of the tree and muttered to myself, "Guess lots of people came, and this little kid seems to more about this than the rest of us." I closed my eyes, trying to rest up, hoping that he won't come. Night was here, and young kids were going to bed, sleeping, peacefully. "I wish I could sleep again..." my voice trailed off as I unwillingly fell into a state of unconsciousness.

  • [ @_@ Meeeeeh Behind as usual it seems. -sighs- Alwell, time to play catch up I suppose. Gods I am so lazy. -shrugs- Anyways, enter the Xhai I suppose. Sorry if this intro sucks butt, yo. ]

How long had she been walking now? Hours? Days even? Time had pretty much lost its place within her barely moving subconcious. Her home village had been left far behind and not even the comforting scent of ash and sulfer reached her sences any longer. Crimson eyes narrowed slightly through the thick wood she was within, a small frown curving her lips downward into a pout. How annoying. A few days ago she had received an odd sort of dream, one that she had had on many occassions before. In this dream she was running, running faster then the wind that fluttered at her back. The grass beneath her bare feet turned to ash from the heat that seemed to radiate from her body. Her long mane of white hair danced behind her like a banner and she stretched her arms out wide at her sides in glee. A laugh spilled from her lips only to be answered by a roar from her left. Her crimson eyes widened as a massive dog like beast surged past, it's dragon-like head turning to look back at her. Anger moved through her system at the thought of being bested by the dog and she moved faster, growling lowly.

Regardless of how fast she moved, she could not catch up to him. The beast let out another bark like roar and leapt out onto a vast body of water, leaving the confused girl fuming on the shore. He ran across the water, steam rising behind his large form as he moved toward a bright light in the distance. Wind rushed to push her slight form forward toward the water and a cry escaped her lips. She tried to fight it to no avail only to find herself falling into the water. The last image that she could remember before waking was of the white maned dog bounding toward the brightly lit sky in the distance.

So, now she found herself trudging through the folliage toward what she assumed was the direction of Seiteki village. How utterly irritating. Cursing under her breath for the millionth time she unsnagged her pack from a collection of briars.

"veeeee." Came the whine from the top of her head and the darkly tanned female glanced up at the small eevee that was clinging tightly to her. Honestly, the poor little fur ball did not look amused at all. Walking non stop without sleep had been a bit much for her. So, she opted to ride the rest of the way. Ahead of them bounded an excited growlithe. How on earth that little monster was still moving was beyond her comprehension. He was like a toddler in a candy store, barking and sniffing at the ground in excitement as he treed various small pokemon.

"Ooi! Chill out Uriel! God, take a break or something!" Xhel snapped, only to have the reddish dog loap back to her side and proceed to tug on her pant leg. "Whaaaaat? Alright alright! I get it, we're coming."

Uriel yipped and shot through the folliage happily, Xhel following along reluctantly. Suddenly the trees gave way to a large expance of water, earning a groan of annoyance from the girl. Crap. Now how on earth was she suppose to cross this? She mentally flipped off the white maned beast for making her do this as she scanned the shore for a ferry or something. No luck. A sigh escaped her and she flopped down on the bank, her eevee scrambling down to play in the water with Uriel. Xhel pulled her knees up to her chest and as she watched the duo play a small smile curved her lips. It was getting dark now and since she had been walking for nearly three days, her body was more then relieved to be unmoving.

Once again, her mind drifted to the dream that she had and to the beast that demanded she cross the water. Her slim brows furrowed in thought. The dog had run across. Well, now she certainly could not do that. Unlike her dream, she was not nearly as fast in reality. A startled yelp snapped her back to reality and the small teen jumped to her feet, watching in a sort of morbid facination as what appeared to be a very large Lapris arose from the lake, taking her startled Eevee up into the air in the process. The poor thing dug her claws into the water pokemon's thick skin and wailed in fear as Uriel scrambled to get back to the bank where he proceeded to bark angrily at the large beast.

"Lumina!" Xhel called and with a squeak, the eevee leapt into the girl's outstretched arms. If anything the Lapris seemed amused. Xhel craddled the shaking eevee and studied the water pokemon carefully, noting that it appeared tamed.

"Oh, sorry about that!" Came a male voice from nearby, and Xhel turned her curious gaze to a young man who trotted over. He was tall, nearly seventeen from appearance, and looked to be some sort of fisherman. "She's harmless! We have been training I gave her a break so she must have wanted to play."

"Don't worry about it, Lumina is a bit skittish." Xhel answered and grinned slightly when the wet eon hissed up at her. " Do you know if there is a ferry or anything near here that is heading for Seiteki?"

" Uuuhhhh, not that I know of, there aren't really any people out here. Infact, you are lucky to have met me." The young man replied after a moment. " We could give you a ride if you like."

Xhel's expression morphed into one of joy at the young man's suggestion and she slipped into "cute" mode.

" COuld you really? We would be so grateful!" She beamed, inwardly cringing at herself. He blushed faintly and nodded in response. How lucky could you get? Xhel recalled her Growlithe as Lumina scrambled up onto her shoulder and followed after the teen onto the blue beast. Well, at least she didn't have to walk anymore. However, she could do without the blabbering male seated next to her.

Andrew had gone pretty far, and was enjoying the sea Pokemon. He let out Wooper and Mantyke for the rest of the way. Andrew kept on swimming at full throttle.

Eventually, Andrew made it to the village. ~Gosh, its going to be hard to get in~ Andrew thought. He got out of the ocean, and headed for the gate. The gaurd noticed his sparkling blue eyes and shiny-black hair, which resembeled someone from his island.
"Sorry, sir, you won't be allowed in." a gaurd said politely.
    Andrew asnwered,"Why not?"
The gaurd had furry in his eyes now. He reached for a Pokeball. "Come out Amphoros!" he said.
"Okay, okay! Ghees!" Andrew said, backing off.
Andrew darted back for the ocean. Andrew then noticed a small river going under a gate. ~Maybe I could swim under the gate...~ Andrew quietly jumped into the stream, and swam up-stream. He got through the gates and went headed for the hair salon.
"Hi!" Andrew said to the owner,"May I please get my hair bleached?"
    "Okay, I guess." she said.
~Maybe I'll blend in better this way~ he thought.
Andrew got his hair bleached, and looked in the mirror. ~Wow!~ he thought.
Then, he wentto the mall, and bought some clothes from this village. ~Okay, now I'll blend in with this village.~
Andrew walked around like he knew the place like the back of his hand. He saw a small group of people, who he felt safe around. He walked up to them.
"Hi! My name is Andrew Pali." he said.

AJ finished his meal and paid, making sure to leave a big tip to the waitress, she smiled and waved him off as he left. " What a nice waitress" He mumbeled to himself trying to remember why exactly he was in this village. " This overheated, overlighted Village!" He grumbled, considering he was used to his cold little winter wonderland, This place sucked. AJ broke thought and saw a kid in a tree, how peculiar he thought to himself noticing that the kid was asleep, " Oh perfect" he said to no one in particular going up to the kid.
AJ felt something strange coming off the kid, " Feels like dark energy, or something" AJ mumbeld, it really felt like a darkness was over the kid. " You feeling alright kid?" AJ asked and then remembering that the kid was asleep, he chuckled to himself and left the kid, going to look for a souviner shop.

  • They arrived in the port late at night, and it was taking Xhel a great deal of strength to keep from falling asleep. The young man offered a hand to help the young teen off, but she meerly jumped from that back of the water pokemon to the dock on her own, Lumina letting out a squeak of glee from the ride. The white haired girl bowed deeply at the waist to the young man before her and graced him with one of her trademark grins.

"Thank you very much for giving us a lift, yo!" She beamed and he smiled sheepishly in response.

"No problem!Whenever you are in the area again, look me up, Xhel!" He replied before remounting his Lapris. The girl watched them swim off, waving until she knew they were too far away. Her smiling face crumpled weakly and she let out an exausted sigh, rubbing her face with her hands. She needed sleep. Badly. With a groan, she turned toward to the village and strode confidantly, if not a little wearily passed the guards. She gave them a slight nod, her crimson glare locking on one. If they even thought of stopping her they would find themselves gaining a few more holes and losing a bit of blood. She averted her heated gaze once she was certain of their compliance and continued forward. Her body was exausted, and drained, and wanting to strangle herself. With a snort she shook her head in response to the image of strangling herself in public while people took pictures. She really needed to sleep.

Lumina bounded along ahead of her as they came to a park, the eon sniffing about curiously. Her owner was too oblivious to notice the eon's sudden interst in something up in the tree that the white haired girl had flopped down against. The moment that she leaned back against the bark her mind blanked out and she fell into a blissfully dreamless sleep. Lumina, however, clambered up onto her owner's lap and glared up at the young teen in the tree.
