No I am not going to use revives! It will take away the satisfaction of completing the challenge imo. I may not defeat Alder in my game as the end of the game is boring and i hate grinding so I doubt I will ever beat Red, maybe the E4 the second time after Johto though.

Very short update...

I battled 3 trainers on Route 7 and lost Shofu to a rain boosted Scald 2HKO however I survived the hits (I knew I would) but the second one burnt me with 5 HP left so I defeated the Simipour and fainted after burn damage :(.
The very next trainer I lost Coco to a Future Sight attack from a Solosis.

I may have to go for the second team now as I am running low on Pokemon.

1st Black update

So I had some time to start 'er up today. So update tiem.

-Did pregame stuff, named self Broseph.
-Picked Tepig as my starter, as the Op chose Oshawott because I'm hipster like that XD
-Named Tepig FullForce
-Went up to Accumula, had a close call with N with FullForce at 2 hp, Fullforce ding level 8!
-Bought some Potions and head up route 2 (? The one before Striaton) and caught a Lillipup, because, well, I need him for the gym and there's no other good Normal types in Unova.
-Entered Striaton, healed and saved for the session.

The team so far:​

FullForce, the Lonely Tepig
Ability: Blaze
Attacks: Tackle, Ember, Tail Whip, Odor Sleuth

Fredrick, the Jolly (OMG) Lillipup
Ability: Vital Spirit
Attacks: Leer, Tackle, Odor Sleuth, Bite

Anyway, in new controversial news...

If you have not updated in 1 month then you are placed on the failed list until you complete the challenge, as I will assume you are too embarassed to post that you have failed and your repuation as a hardened Pokemon challenger will be tarnished!

In other controversial news I have added jespoke to the failed list as he quit :) gasp...

I will give everyone 1 week (until the 22nd) to update!

Yay an update! So yeah I like your starting screens :)

What is your Ground type gonna be then only decent one I can think of is Geodude but you have already got him. Unless it is Dugtrio for an easy time against Lt. Surge... Yellow looks easy ;) but you won't be removed from failed list on GSC if you complete Yellow ;).


Anyway kinda small update:

• After my recent small disaster (lost Conkeldurr and Vanillite) I decide I need some more team members.
• Therefore my decent options are Yamask and Drillbur form my types left.
• Caught Phar-oh? the Yamask and Rufus the Drillbur
• Audinos became my best friend once again, for an hour or so.
• Taught Friday(Trubbish) Acid Spray by Heart Scale (finally)
• Rufus evolved into Excadrill
• Phar-oh evolved into Cofagrigus
• Munna learnt Psychic and evolved into Musharna
• Friday evolved into Garbodor :) never thought I would see the day when I first got him.
• With my new fully evolved team I took out the Celestial Tower and every trainer in Route 7.
• Mishralton Gym Trainers went n-nyts
• Musharna and Charge Beam swept Skyla.

Right ok, so Porygon Z (who was so close), misteryman1, pokepokemo and Slash Arena have all been put into the HALL OF SHAME.

So after 1 and a half months, 70 something replies and about 10 failures, I have not crowned a single champion!!! Do you guys want your final teams to be put up on the first page with impressions when/if you win? because I may do some overall thread awards as well. (ideas are welcome)
