The Elite Army​

Story

"To be a Pokemon Master" are the words that many young Trainers utter when asked by their regional Professor in regards to what they want to get out of their adventure. Of course, "Pokemon Master" seems to have different definitions according to different individuals. Many see being a Pokemon Master as winning a Pokemon League Tournament. Others see it as somehow capturing a Legendary Pokemon. And there are also some that see being a Pokemon Master as completely defeating the likes of as many Elite 4 members as possible. Someone has begun to take the latter a bit too far.

Recently, there have been reports of a young Trainer who has somehow conjured up an organization of villainous minded individuals whose sole goal is to deplete the lives of the most notable Trainers in the Pokemon World. What other place to start than members of the Elite 4. At first, the idea was thought of as preposterous, but attention immediately came towards these incidents with the death of a prominent and long-time Elite 4 member, Bruno, was reported to the Pokemon Conference Headquarters. Officials were placed on the job to locate the perpetrators of these offenses, but to no avail. Eventually more Elite 4 members began to 'vanish' unsure of whether or not these disappearances were murders or perhaps a warning to other Trainers in the world.

The Pokemon Conference Officials were completely baffled and the search for Elite 4 members included Will, Karen, Drake, the entire Sinnoh Elite 4, Marshal, and Caitlin. People began to wonder when the other members of the Elite 4 would step in to save the world, but they had been told by Pokemon Conference Officials to remain out of sight for their protection. Matters only got worse as several Trainers on their journeys turned up missing as well. Who ever these kidnappers and serial killers were, they saw anyone as fair game.

A video message was sent to Professor Oak, the regional and world-renowned Professor of the Kanto region, from a shady individual whose face could not be seen in the recording. In the video, the man stated that he was taking back everything that was his at the expense of others in the world. Oak did not know exactly what the man wanted or even who he was, but he was all but sure that this was not going to end well for the world.

Fed up with nothing being done by the Pokemon Conference, a young but seasoned Trainer by the name of Hiro Kazuma decided to send out a mass invitation to a bunch of his Trainer pen pals in an effort to form an alliance that would personally locate this evil organization, put their actions to a halt, and retrieve the remaining Elite 4 members, bringing them back to safety. Hiro knew that many of his friends were on their quests to become Pokemon Master, but the Unova native knew that some of them would find it in their hearts to help him restore order to the Pokemon World. This operation could start off as a small gathering among friends, but could potentially evolve into an Elite Army!

Regional Elite 4 Members - A group of Trainers in each of the regions of the world who are considered the toughest in their respective Pokemon Leagues. Many of the members of this Elite group of Trainers have gone missing and are deemed dead by much of society.

Short & Simple Rules
1. Keep all arguments and drama IC. This also means that any beef you have OOC does not need to go in character. Any evidence of this results in being kicked out of the roleplay. No excuses.

2. If you cannot take direction or orders well in an roleplay, then this is not the roleplay for you. I like to keep things neat and orderly in an RP because I really dislike free roam roleplays. Again, if this is not for you, don't sign up.

3. Respect the game master as well as the other players. We all have lives too. Please don't continuously post in the roleplaying thread without allowing anyone else to reply. That is very annoying and could result in your removal from the RP.

4. Any complaints, please contact me or co-game master via PM. Don't let things continue to bother you without contacting someone to talk about the situation.

5. Elite Army is not canon with the anime nor the manga. So no characters from those entities. This does not mean that I won't accept original characters. In fact, I will only accept original characters (with picture or just a description).

6. Your character must be from one of the five given regions that have been revealed in the main Pokemon games (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova).

7. Proper grammar and English are two of the key components of this roleplay. It keeps everything neat and tidy. Please read through your posts before submitting 'post reply' and also spell check yourself as well. Minor typos are understood, but habitual fractions and misspellings are unacceptable in this roleplay.

8. Absolutely no god moding, power playing, and mary-gary sues. I don't want cookie cutter characters and I will even call them out during the application process. It is my goal to make this RP a big one, but I won't accept half-way worked characters at all.

9. Your character will have six Pokemon in their party and four reserve Pokemon. Three of the six Pokemon in your party will be your choice but they must not be legendary nor overly powerful (meaning no Dragon teams, semi-legendary teams, etc.). The remaining Pokemon on your team will be selected by me. This is done to prevent clones of the same Pokemon. That being said, I'm giving you the opportunity to pick your three favorite Pokemon from a specific region, so there should be no complaints. NO SHINIES.

10. This roleplay will thrive on Anime Style Battling. There no levels in this RP, but know the limits of your character's Pokemon. This reverts back to no god-moding.

11. I don't have a word count, but at the same time if your posts are not quality enough that somebody can actually respond to it, you will be warned. Continual lack of quality will result in banishment from the roleplay. All posts must be in third person.

There are no restrictions outside of legendaries, but use good judgment when using semi-legendary Pokemon (Dragonite for example). I don't want Dragon Trainers running around. Diversity is key.

Hmm...well, certainly seems like fun. I however don't watch the anime anymore as I stopped watching after the first season for whatever reason so I'm not too familiar with the anime battling styles. That was forever ago and I don't quite remember anything from it. Is there any major differences from the games other than the absence of levels? If not then I shouldn't have any trouble with this RP.

By anime style battling, I just mean be descriptive as possible with battling. There's no turn based system in this RP. Basically no unlimited dodging and no one hundred percent accuracy.

So, I has a question.

Murkrow is from the Johto region, however, its evolved form Honchkrow isn't. I was wondering if it would still be possible for me to have a Honchkrow since its pre-evolved form comes from my home region.

That's a great question Kota. In those situations, I'm willing to let that be acceptable. So, yes, you can have Honchkrow on your team.
