Because they don't know Sing attack??? XD
 
yeah, im confused too, basically because who would want a espy to sing? I dont think i under stand
 
May i join....
If Espeon are psychic and can do everything with their minds, how come they aren't able to tap into the perfect singing voice? Eg- Why can't they sing?~
Maybe they could using telephaty or a frequency that couln't be heard by their trainer.

Doesn't mean Espeon can't sing. It not just the words that matter. Think about Jigglypuff. Awesome singer but can only sing its own name. I wouldn't mind listening at least once. But I am also insane as well :D

EDIT: And it doesn't matter if they can learn Sing or not either.

Some psychic stuff. Like, Sp. Attack enhancer. Wait, what's that item that boosts the Sp. Attack of a Pokemon in the game... damn, I forgot. It's like those items that I thought were useless; Iron, Calcium, Zinc (oh, maybe it's Zinc!), Protein
Wait...
Protein = +1 Attack
Iron = +1 Defense
Calcium = +1 Speed
Zinc = +1 Sp. Atk/Sp. Def
??? = +1 Sp. Def/Sp. Atk

DAMN I can't remember it!

All of the following most likely, Heaps of training, Heaps of love, Heaps of experience and a powerful held item. And of course the willpower to fight on. It also depends what legendary your talking about

Anyway Shadow Ball helps against some Yay for Shadow Ball!
 
What would boost Espeons powers so high that it could defeat a legendary with one hit?
Well for one, if it could learn the move Psycho boost, it would be awesome. Training it from a starting level, meaning 1-5, raising it to level 100, giving it tons of whatever the thing is to boost special attack, giving it an awesome hold item, etc.
 
A lot of things can help the downfall of a legendary against ol' Espeon, but let's not forget what nature the Espeon has. If it's a shy, not willing to battle for it's life Espeon, nothing will unless you force--which wouldn't be very nice. Of course, if it's a Fighting Machine, all the willpower to keep on going is there, all it needs is some reinforcements from it's trainer, a nice attack set, and you've got that bad boy legendary right where you want him.
