Wurmples a boss, and hey, ive done a first route evolved challenge before, but ive never done em unevolved! Thats why its called a challenge
 
Ok! Time for my first update! Started today and did this stuff:

- took Cyndaquil and rushed trough the beginning until Lyra taught me how to catch pokemon (wow didn't know how to do that! -.-')
- caught my first three pokemon multiple times until i was happy with the natures:

Bity (Rattata)
Serious nature

Dexter (Sentret)
Modest nature

Winx (Pidgey)
Serious nature

- shut down DS Lite and changed time to catch my

Night (Hoothoot)
Naive nature

- grinded the whole team on Pidgeys to farm some effort points for the Initiation-stat
- went to Violet City
- fought through Bellsprot Tower, got TM70
- Challenged Falkner without further training and won (very close though)

My team at this point:

Serious nature, No item
-Bite
-Quick Attack
-Focus Energy
-Tailwhip

Dexter (Sentret) Lv.8

Ya, I don't play on a emulator ^.^
If there are any wrong words, I'm sorry. As I'm from germany, my game is german as well. Therefore I have to translate Pokemon, Attacks and Natures and stuff. ;D
 
Update: Here's what's happened since my last update:
- Made it to Celestic Town and did what I needed to do there.
- Fought the trainers west of Celestic Town.
- Fought the trainers in all of the Surf-accessible routes.
- Went to Canalve City and beat Barry.
- Went to Iron Island and fought all trainers there, got Riolu egg.
- When I got back to Canalave City, I deposited the aforementioned egg and my HM slaves, Piplup and Geodude.
- Fought and beat the Canalave Gym. Battle with Byron: Magneton falls to Bibarel's Dig. Steelix falls to Bibarel's Surf. Bastiodon falls to Staraptor's Close Combat. I win.
Team is now:

  • Vrai evolved into Beautifly
  • Defeated the Magma Grunt
  • Grinded more
  • Made it into Rustboro
  • Blade evolved into Dustox
  • Roxanne Mauled me
  • Mauled by Roxanne about 4 more times. ;-;
  • Intense grinding time.
  • Roxanne was mauled by me! <:
  • Defeated the grunt again
  • Received the letter and the Pokenav
  • Made my way to Dewford
  • Did the events their.
  • Got my second badge
  • Arrived in Slateport

Now I'm gonna be super vague with this update. I did all the lakes, etc, except Lake Acuity. Went on the route to Snowpoint City. Got enough shards to teach Bibarel Dive.

Chapter 2
​

  • I skip the gym for now and do the route above it, battling trainers
  • ZigZagoon finds a protien on the floor, and i let him eat it
  • I get a PP up, use it on Ziggy (headbutt)
  • Geodudes of hiker are taken down with poison sting (i love you)
  • Poison is god :D
  • I grind until Poochyanna learns Bite. Very Usefull.
  • Sand Attack for Zigzagoon! Also Useful on the gyms
  • I didn't want to use Ziggy for this gym for friendship purposes (return)
  • After Wurmple reaches lvl 13, i challenge the gym, using only poocheanna for the trainers, and most of the gym
  • After photosynthesizing the trainers, i head for the "Mart"
  • I Buy some X Defends for poocheanna
  • Battle Time!

  • Grunt runs out of Devon Corp.
  • Following grunt and rescuing "Peeko"
  • Catch another Ziggy, teach it cut
  • Wurmple poisons the grunts pooch, than some tackles and its down
  • Now, i go into the Devon building, and its on!
  • I get my pokenavigation device (pokenav) and head on to Dewford
  • I battle the two fisherman, and save in front of the castle
  • The end for now!
Pokemon at end: (no pics this time, im too lazy to do pics)

-Zigzagoon lvl 14 | Headbutt, Sand Attack, Tackle, Tail Whip
-Wurmple lvl 14 | Tackle, Poison Sting, String Shot

I love reading you entries. No offence, but I find it kind of funny how you spell Poochyena like 3 different ways, but none are correct. It makes me giggle. :D

Platinum Challengers, read this: I have updated the rules to make the second round of the Elite Four optional. I did this because the second round has no new Pokemon added.
