[Pokémon] The Further Adventures of Ash

Episode 1: Beginning
Ash, and Pikachu were in Pewter City. They went to the gym, and talked to Brock.
"Are yoiu ready to go to the Rodo Region?" asked Ash.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Yeah I'm ready. So, what pokemon are you bringing?" asked Brock.
"I'm bringing Pikachu only." explained Ash.
"Well, I'm bringing Happiny." said Brock.
"Why aren't you bringing Croagunk?" asked Ash.
"Because I am starting to get tired of his Poison Jab hitting my back!" said Brock.
Ash, Brock, and Pikachu got a ship that was bound for the Rodo Region. Little did they know that they were being followed. Jessie, James, and Meowth peeked around from behind a corner.
"Where the twerp goes, is where we are going to go so that we can capture Pikachu!" they said.
Jessie had brought her Wobbuffet, Yanmega, and Seviper, while James had brought his Carnivine, and Mime Jr.

The Rodo Region was a region where every pokemon from the first four generations could be found. Daph was a soon to be new pokemon trainer. She went to Professor Maple's Lab.
"I'm here to get my first pokemon!" she said.

Episode 2: Daph's First Pokemon (Part 1)
Ash, Brock, and Pikachu arrived in Origin Town, where Professor Maple's lab was. They went straight to the lab to introduce themselves. Once they were in the lab, they discovered that Maple was talking to a ten year old girl.
"So, Daph, what do you want as your first pokemon?" asked Maple.
Ash, and the others walked up to them.
"A first time trainer!" exclaimed Ash.
"Pikachu!" exclaimed Pikachu.
"Hi, I'm Brock." said Brock.
"I'm Ash, and this is my buddy Pikachu." said Ash.
"I'm Daph." said Daph.
"And I am Professor Maple." said Maple.
"So, what kind of starter pokemon do they have in the Rodo Region?" asked Ash.
"The three starter pokemon are all the normal type. We have Igglybuff, Cleffa, and Happiny." explained Maple.
"What are you going to chose?" asked Ash.
"Not so fast!" said some voices.
Ash, and the others turned around, and saw Jessie, James, and Meowth.
"Team Rocket!" growled, and Brock.
"Pikachu!" growled Pikachu.
"We'll be taking those pokemon so that we can sent them to our boss Giovanni!" said Jessie.
Jessie, James, and Meowth ran towards the three poke balls that were on the counter.

Episode 3: Daph's First Pokemon (Part 2)
Ash called Pikachu into battle, and Brock sent out his Happiny.
"What? Who are they?" asked Daph.
"They're bad guys!" said Ash.
"Pikachu!" growled Pikachu.
"They're Jessie, James, and Meowth." explained Brock.
"You all are going down!" growled Jessie, James, and Meowth at the same time.
Jessie sent out her Yanmega, and James sent out his Carnivine. Carnivine used Bullet Seed on Pikachu, but Pikachu didn't take alot of damage from the attack. Pikachu leaped high into the air, and hit Yanmega with Iron Tail. Yanmega went flying backwards, and crashed hard into Carnivine. Carnivine, and Yanmega collapsed on the ground in defeat. They were put back into their poke balls. Jessie, James, and Meowth turned around, and fled the lab.
"Now that that's settled. Daph, it is time for you to choose your first pokemon!" said Maple.
"I choose... Cleffa!" said Daph.
Maple handed Daph Cleffa's poke ball. Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph soon decided that they were going to travel together. Ash would take on the gym challenge, while Daph would enter Pokemon Contests.

Episode 4: The Spearow Flock
Ash, Pikachu, Daph, and Brock were walking down a path in the forest when suddenly, a flock of Spearow flew out from behing the trees, and started attacking them. They noticed that there was a Fearow at the head of the flock. The Fearow was obviously the leader of the Spearow flock. Jessie, James, and Meowth suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
"Let's get that Fearow!" said Jessie.
"Yeah!" agreed Meowth.
James threw a poke ball, and the Fearow went inside of the poke ball. The poke ball fell to the ground, and shook four times, and then stopped shaking. James had successfully captured a Fearow.
"What are the Spearow going to do without a leader?" asked Ash.
"Pikachu..." muttered Pikachu.
"Well, we're probably going to have to fight off the flock!" said Brock.
"I'm in!" said Daph.
Ash called Pikachu into battle. Brock sent out Happiny, and Daph sent out her Cleffa. Cleffa, and Happiny leaped high into the air, and began hitting several of the Spearow with Pound attacks. Several Spearows fled the area. Soon, there was only one Spearow left.
"Spearow!" said the Spearow.
"Spearow is saying that it respects the twerp, and wants to join his team." translated Meowth.
"Okay." said Ash, holding out a poke ball.
Spearow tapped the poke ball with its beak. The poke ball opened up, and Spearow went inside. The poke ball shook four times, and then stopped shaking, meaning that Ash had successfully captured a Spearow!

I...would like to apologize, but this is borderline for the section's standards. All this mostly is is just (improperly punctuated) dialogue.

"Team Rocket!" growled, and Brock.

Yeah, that also shows that you didn't take the few minutes to read this over before you posted it, to make sure that you caught all the mistakes you could.

Does Team Rocket just kind of leave at the end of the last chapter? That strikes me as really un-Team Rocket, especially Jessie, James, and Meowth. I mean, these are the baddies that don't give up, especially after they catch a new Pokemon.

And what's with these captures? They seem rather easy. I'll accept the Spearow that Ash catches because, well, it's Ash. But, to easily catch a Fearow by throwing a Pokeball and the Fearow just accepting it? It appears as if you're making everything easy for all your characters, including the bad guys, and that's kind of not interesting to read.

Since this is what I keep focusing on, I'll just say it: Pikachu can say more than just "Pikachu" in different tones. Little rodent has a vocabulary of words made up from his its name. "Pika pikachu!" and so forth.

You seem like you have potential, and just need the guidance to get there. So I'm going to leave this open, and maybe you'll get some comments from people that'll help you out. If not, smack me and I'll do the best I can to help you.

First thing you can do to improve is hit the Enter button twice to make a new paragraph. This way, your chapter won't be all bunched together.

I understand i'll at least try working have Team Rocket blasting off, and Pikachu saying more than just Pikachu. I'll start with that, as well as double spacing the paragraphs.

Episode 5: The Injured Igglybuff
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were on their way to Ribbon Town. Ribbon Town was the site of Daph's first Pokemon Contest. That was when they ran into an Igglybuff that was in the middle of the path. It looked really injured.

"Poor thing..." Daph muttered sadly.
"We should take it to the Pokemon Center." said Brock.
"I agree." said Ash.
"Pi Pikachu..." muttered Pikachu.

Suddenly, Team Rocket appeared out of nowhere in a machine designed to look like a Meowth. A door opened up at the top of the head, and Jessie came out. She threw a poke ball at the injured Igglybuff. The injure Igglybuff went inside of the poke ball, and the poke ball shook four times, and then stopped shaking. Jessie had captured an Igglybuff.

"That pokemon needs to be taken care of at a Pokemon Center!" growled Brock.
"Don't worry, we'll take care of it, because we want it to be a member of our team!" said James.
"Now, for Pikachu!" grinned Meowth.
A net shot out of the robot's mouth, and captured Pikachu.
"Pika!" cried out Pikachu.
"Spearow, come on out, and cut the net with Aerial Ace!" said Ash, sending out Spearow.

Spearow flew forward, and cut the net with Aerial Ace. Pikachu was set free. Brock sent out Happiny.

"Happiny! Send the machine flying!" cried out Brock.

Happiny ran up to the machine, and lifted it into the air.

"Wow! Happiny is strong!" Daph said in amazement.
"I worked on Happiny's strength, so Happiny is now stronger!" said Brock.

Happiny sent the machine flying through the air.

"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket cried out.

The machine went flying out of sight.



The Meowth machine hit the ground hard, and was damaged beyond repair. Jessie, James, and Meowth crawled out of the machine.
"Are we ever going to get Pikachu?" complained Meowth.

Episode 6: Team Rocket's Igglybuff
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were walking down a path.

"I wonder how that Igglybuff is doing..." muttered Daph.
"Pi Pika..." muttered Pikachu.
"I just hope that it gets treated well..." said Brock.
"And hopefully, Team Rocket won't send it to Giovanni. I heard Giovanni imprisons his captured pokemon in a dungeon. That's pokemon cruelty!" said Ash.




"I'm telling that we should send Igglybuff to the boss!" said Meowth.
"That's right!" said James.
"There's no way I'm giving up this precious pokemon! I'm keeping it all to myself!" said Jessie.
"Whatever you say..." sighed James.

Episode 7: Ribbon Town Preparations
"I have decided something." said Daph.
"What is it?" asked Ash.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"I think I should prepare for the Ribbon Town Contest by catching a pokemon!" said Daph.
"That sounds like a good idea to me." said Brock.

Team Rocket peeked out from behind the bushes.

"The girl twerp is looking for a pokemon..." muttered Jessie.
:I don't see how she is going to win the Ribbon Town Pokemon Contest." said James.
"Because you're more of an experienced coordinator." said Meowth.

Daph looked around for a pokemon, when suddenly, a pokemon walked out from behind somee bushes. The pokemon was known as Bronzor. Daph threw a poke ball, and the Bronzor went inside. The poke ball shook once, and then opened up, and released the pokemon that was inside. Bronzor turned around, and fled into the bushes.

"Ah man... I don't understand..." Daph muttered sadly.
"Sometimes, you are going to have to weaken the pokemon first." said Brock.

Episode 8: Daycare
Jessie, James, and Meowth left Wobbuffet at the Daycare Center in Ribbon Town to get stronger. Wobbuffet walked up to a female Wobbuffet.


Jessie, James, and Meowth returned to the Daycare Center, and they were shocked to discover that Wobbuffet was holding an egg.

"Do you want your pokemon, and the egg?" asked the Daycare Man.
"I just want Wobbufffet!" said Jessie.
"Fine. I'll take good care of the egg." said the Daycare Woman.

Jessie, James, and Meowth left the Daycare Center. Moments later, Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph showed up at the Daycare.
"Tell me, girl, do you need a new pokemon?" asked the Daycare Woman.
"Yes. I do." replied Daph.
"Then, take this egg. It is going to hatch into a pokemon." said the Daycare Man, handing Daph the egg that Jessie had left behind.
"You're finally going to get your second pokemon!" said Ash.
"How great!" said Brock.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.

Okay, next piece of advice: Take your time when writing the chapters. You posted four chapters in one day. The best thing to do is wait a day after you finish your chapter, leave it alone for a while, come back to read it over and fix mistakes, and then post it.

Another thing that would help is to combine chapters. Yours are rather on the short side, and they could be combined together to make them longer. Think about the Pokemon anime in terms of a fanfic. Each episode would be a chapter. It might help to think of your story like that, where you fit enough into a chapter to make it seem like an episode.

As for your dialogue, there's a guide right here that will help you understand how to punctuate dialogue correctly.

Episode 9: Ribbon Town Pokemon Contest (Part 1)
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were finally in Ribbon Town, site of Daph's first Pokemon Contest.

"I'm nervous..." muttered Daph.
"Don't worry. You're going to do fine!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"However, it is okay to be nervous. After all, this is your first contest." said Brock.

Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph entered the Contest Hall, and Daph signed up for the Pokemon Contest. They were shocked to discover that Jessie had entered the Pokemon Contest.
"What? No disguise?" asked Ash.
"No one in this region knows about Team Rocket, so we are in the clear." said James.
"Meowth! That's right!" said Meowth.
"I intend on winning this Pokemon Contest, but don't worry, I intend on winning this contest based on the skills that I have as a coordinator." said Jessie.

Episode 10: Ribbon Town Pokemon Contest (Part 2)
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, James, and Meowth took their seats in the audience. It was time for the contest to begin. First up was Jessie. Jessie threw a poke ball into the air. Igglybuff came out of the poke ball. Igglybuff used Attract, and hearts began to fly out of the arena.

Soon it was time to announce who was moving on to the next round. Jessie, and Dusk were moving on, but Daph wasn't. Daph lowered her head sadly. She had lost the contest. In the final round was Jessie, and Dusk. In the end, Jessie won the contest, and the Ribbon Town Ribbon.

Episode 11: Wynaut
Team Rocket peeked out from behind the bushes.
"It looks like the female twerp's egg is hatching..." muttered James.

The egg was glowing.
"The egg is hatching!" exclaimed Daph.
"Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"I wonder what kind of Pokemon it's going to be?" Ash wondered out loud.
The egg hatched into a Wynaut.
"A Wynaut!" said Brock.

Episode 12: Barry's Gift
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were in the Pokemon Center, due to the fact that Ash had recieved a phone call from his old rival Barry.

"Hey, Barry!" said Ash.
"Hey, Ash. I have a pokemon for you. I don't need it, so you can have it. Don't worry. It's a pokemon you would like. I'm sending it over to you." said Barry.

There was a bright flash, and a poke ball appeared in the transporter of the phone.

"I gotta go, see ya around." said Barry.

Barry hung up the phone. Ash took the poke ball out of the transporter, and sent out the pokemon that was inside. Out of the poke ball came a Piplup.

"Barry's Empoleon must have had a child!" said Brock.
"Wow! A Piplup!" said Daph.
"That's going to probably become one of your strongest pokemon!" said Brock.
"Pi Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu.

It's not necessarily that of having more than one chapter in a single post, but rather to expand on a single chapter, so as to make it more developed, and thus interesting. ;)

Episode 13: Call from Home
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were in the next town's Pokemon Center, when Brock recieved a call from home. He answered the phone.

"Dad? What is it?" asked Brock.
"Your Geodude is starting to miss you. Is it okay if I send him to you?" asked Brock's dad Flint.
"It's fine with me." said Brock.
"Okay. I am sending Geodude over in the transporter." said Flint.
There was a bright flash, and Geodude's poke ball appeared in the transporter.
"Geodude's back!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You have a Geodude?" asked Daph.
"It was one of my first pokemon." explained Brock.

Team Rocket peeked in through the window of the Pokemon Center.
"The other twerp's got a Geodude..." they muttered.

Episode 14: Taillow
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were walking down a path when they happened to look up into the sky, and realize that there was a Taillow flying above them.

"A Taillow!" said Brock.
"I remember my Taillow, except now, it's a Swellow." said Ash.
"Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Wow! So that's a Taillow!" said Daph.

The Taillow dove down at them, hitting them with Aerial Ace.

"It appears to want to battle." said Brock.

Team Rocket peeked at them through the bushes.

"That looks like a strong Taillow." said James.
"We should catch it, and send it to the boss." said Meowth.

They leaped out of the bushes.

"Grab that Taillow!" said Jessie.
"Team Rocket!" growled Ash, Brock, and Daph.
"We can't let them get that Taillow!" said Daph.
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" said Ash.

Pikachu used Thunderbolt, sneding Jessie, James, and Meowth flying backwards through the air.

"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!" they cried out.
"Now, for that Taillow!" said Daph.

Daph sent out her Wynaut. Taillow flew at Wynaut, with Aerial Ace at the ready. Wynaut used Counter when Taillow hit it with Aerial Ace. Aerial Ace bounced back, and hit Taillow. Taillow fell to the ground in defeat.

"That Taillow has a lot of power!" said Brock.
"That's why I'm going to try to catch it!" said Daph.

Daph threw a poke ball. Taillow went inside of the poke ball, it then shook four times, and then stopped shaking. Daph had successfully captured a Taillow!

Episode 15: Poke Ringer
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph came to a stadium, that they found out was holding a Poke Ringer competition. They were surprised to see that James had entered the competition. With their flying type pokemon, Ash, and Daph signed up for the competition. Brock, Jessie and Meowth took their seats in the audience, and the competition began. Ash made it through to the next round like Daph, and James.

Ash, James, and Daph made it to the semi-final round. Ash was facing James. The match began. Ash, and James got into their balloons, and flew into the air.

Daph was in the waiting room.
"Come on, Ash..." muttered Daph.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Come on..." muttered Brock, Jessie, and Meowth.

Ash had out Spearow, and James had out his Fearow. The ring shot up into the air. Fearow flew forward, and grabed the ring in its beak. Fearow turned around, and sped towards the goal. Spearow flew up to Fearow, and hit it in the back with Aerial Ace, and then Steel Wing. Fearow fell to the ground below, dropping the ring. Spearow quickly grabbed the ring, and put it on the goal.

"The winner of this match is Team Ash!" announced the announcer.

Daph was shocked to see that her rival, Dusk, was her next opponent. Dusk sent out a Murkrow, while Daph sent out her Taillow. Taillow hit Murkrow with Aerial Ace, and then dove down, and grabbed the ring in its beak. Murkrow flew at Taillow, hitting it with Dark Pulse in close range. Taillow fell to the ground, dropping the ring. Murkrow dove down, and grabbed the ring, and then put it on the goal. Dusk had won the match.

Ash, and Dusk were facing ech other in the final round of the competition. Ash sent out Spearow, and Dusk sent out his Murkrow. The ring went flying into the air, and Murkrow grabbed it. Murkrow used Night Slash on Spearow. Spearow went spiraling down to the ground. Murkrow put the ring on the goal. The winner of the competition was Dusk, and his Murkrow.

It was evening. James sent out his Fearow.
"Fearow, I want you to stay here..." muttered James.
"Fear? Fearow?" Fearow said in shock.
"I want you to train in the arts of Poke Ringer." said James.
James threw Fearow's poke ball on the ground. The poke ball shattered into several pieces.

Episode 16: Return of Larvitar
Jessie, James, and Meowth crept up to the Pokemon Center window. They peeked through the window. Ash, Brock, Daph, and Pikachu were in front of a video phone.

"Thanks." said Ash, picking up the poke ball in the teleporter.
He hung up the video phone.
Ash sent out the pokemon that was inside of the poke ball. Inside of the poke ball was a Larvitar.
"It's the Larvitar you took care of for a while!" said Brock.
"So that's a Larvitar!" said Daph.
"Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu.

Episode 17: Piplup's Challenge
ASh, Brock, Daph, and Pikachu were in a battle with Team Rocket. Team ROcket had out all of their pokemon, but Ash, Brock, and Daph played by the rules, so they only had one pokemon out each. Ash had out his Piplup, Brock had out his Geodude, and Daph had out her Taillow.

"You can't beat all of our pokemon at once!" said Jessie.
"Meowth! That's right!" said Meowth.
"Carnivine, use Bullet Seed!" said James.

Carnivine fired Bullet Seed at Piplup. Pipplup was hit, causing the penguin pokemon to cry out in pain. Piplup collapsed on the ground.

"Piplup!" cried out Ash, Brock, and Daph.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
Carnivine used Vine Whip on Geodude. Geodude was defeated. Eventually, Taillow was defeated as well.
"We win!" said Jessie.
Piplup slowly, and painfully got to its feet.
"What?!" gasped Meowth.
Piplup began to glow.
"Piplup is starting to evolve!" gasped Brock.
Piplup evolved into Prinplup.
"Prinplup!" roared Prinplup.
Prinplup used Bubblebeam on Jessie's Yanmega. Yanmega went flying backwards through the air, and crashed into Jessie, James, Meowth, and the other pokemon. They went flying through the air.
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" cried out Team Rocket.

Episode 18: Gym Finally
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph arrived in a town by the name of Aldos.

"Finally, we're in Aldos Town!" said Daph.
"What's so special about Aldos Town?" asked Ash.
"You should know, Ash, considering it is the site of your first gym battle!" said Daph.
"Fianlly, we have reached a gym." said Brock.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.

Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph entered the Aldos Town Gym. Once they were inside, they met Arthur, the gym leader.

"I challenge you to a gym battle!" challenged Ash.
"I accept your challenge." said Arthur.

The battle between Ash, and Arthur began. It was going to be a three on three pokemon battle.

Jessie, James, and Meowth peeked through the window of the gym.

"The twerp finally gets to have a gym battle in the Rodo Region..." they muttered to themselves.

Ash sent out his newly evolved Prinplup, while Arthur sent out an Trapinch. Prinplup used Bubblebeam, knocking Tranpinch backwards a little bit. Trapinch charged forward, and tried to use Crunch on Prinplup. Prinplup dodged the attack, and then hit Tranpinch with Metal Claw. Trapinch fell forward, and collapsed on the ground.
"Trapinch is unable to battle, the winner is Prinplup!" announced the judge.
Trapinch was put back into its poke ball. Arthur sent out a Vibrava. Vibrava used Dragonbreath. Prinplup stumbled backwards a little bit after getting hit by the Dragonbreath attack. Prinplup tried to use Bubblebeam, but Vibrava was too fast. Vibrava flew up to Prinplup, and in close range, hit Prinplup with Dragonbreath. Prinplu fell backwards, and collapsed on the ground.
"Prinplup is unable to battle, the winner is Vibrava!" announced the judge.
Prinplup was put back into its poke ball. Ash sent Pikachu into the battle. Pikachu used Volt Tackle, and then leaped into the air, hitting Vibrava with the attack. Vibrava fell to the ground, but then slowly, and painfully, flew back up into the air. Pikachu used Thunderbolt, This attack managed to defeat Vibrava. Vibrava was put back into its poke ball.

"Come on out, Flygon!" said Arthur, sending out a Flygon.
"A Flygon?!" Ash gasped in shock.
"Flygon, use Flamethrower!" said Arthur.
Flygon obeyed, and shot flames out of its mouth. The Flamethrower attack hit Pikachu. Pikachu went flying backwards through the air, and crashed hard into a wall.
"Pikachu is unable to battle, the winner is Flygon!" announced the judge.

Ash sent out his Spearow. Spearow automatically used Aerial Ace. The atttack hit, knocking Flygon backwards a little bit. Flygon used Dragonbreath, and Spearow was defeated in one hit. Ash had lost the battle.

Episode 19: Training Decision
Ash decided that he was going to have to train in order to defeat Arthur.

"I think I should train." said Ash.
"That's a good idea. Considering how strong Arthur's Flygon is." said Brock.
"I'll have a training battle with you." said Daph.

The training battle between Daph, and Ash began. Team Rocket peeked through the bushes at them.

"The twerp isn't as strong as he used to be..." said Jessie.
"But he is still stronger than us..." James muttered sadly.
"Maybe we've got to become stronger." said Meowth.

An Abra came out of the bushes.
"Look! An Abra!" said Brock.
Daph quickly canceled the battle so that she could try to catch the Abra. She had out her Cleffa.
"Cleffa, use Metronome!" said Daph.
Metronome turned into Icy Wind. Icy Wind hit Abra. Abra shook off the pain, and hen used Teleport to teleport behind Cleffa. Abra then used Confusion. Cleffa was hit, and was knocked to the ground in defeat. Cleffa was put into its poke ball, and then Daph sent out Wynaut. Abra used Confusion again, but Wynaut used Mirror Coat, and sent the attack back to Abra with twice the power. Abra dropped down on the ground. Daph threw a poke ball, and caught the Abra.

Episode 20: Rematch with Arthur
After Ash had trained some more, he, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph returned to the Aldos Gym. Ash challenged Arthur to another battle, and Arthur accepted the challenge, and the battle began. Brock, and Daph too the their seats on the sidelines.

Jessie, James, and Meowth peeked through the window of the gym.

"The twerp came back for a rematch." said Jessie.

"Let's make this a double battle." said Arthur.
"Fine with me." said Ash.
"Two pokemon each." said Arthur.
Ash called Pikachu into the battle, and then sent out Prinplup. Arthur sent out Trapinch, and Vibrava. Pikachu used Thunderbolt on Vibrava, and Prinplup suddenly used Water Pulse on Trapinch. Trapinch, and Vibrava fell to the ground, but they quickly got up, and they both used Dragon Pulse. The two Dragon Pulse attacks hit Pikachu, and Prinplup, knocking them backwards a little bit. Pikachu used Thunder, and Prinplup used Water Pulse. Trapinch, and Vibrava were hit by the attacks. They collapsed on the ground in defeat. Ash won the Dragon Badge.

Episode 21: Borrow Larvitar
Jessie, James, and Meowth peeked through the window of the Pokemon Center.

"Looks like the twerp has gotten a call." said Jessie.

"Hi, Professor Oak!" said Ash.
"Ash, can I borrow your Larvitar for a while?" asked Professor Oak.
"Borrow Larvitar?!" gasped Daph.
"I guess you need Larvitar for your research or some kind of problem at the lab?" asked Brock.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"That's right." said Professor Oak.
"Okay." said Ash.
Ash put Larvitar's poke ball in the transporter, there was a bright flash, and Larvitar's poke ball was gone.

Episode 22: Koffing
A Koffing floated in the middle of the path. Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph tried to walk past the Koffing, but Koffing kept moving so that they couldn't get by.

Jessie, James, and Meowth peeked out of the bushes.

"The twerps can't get past..." muttered James.

"I guess we've got no choice but to battle it!" said Ash.
Ash sent Pikachu into the battle.
"Go Pikachu!" cheered Daph.
"That Koffing looks pretty strong..." said Brock.
Pikachu used Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt hit Koffing, knocking Koffing out of the air. Koffing crashed hard into the ground, but then got back up, and flew back up into the air. Koffing used Smokescreen. Smoke filled the air. Koffing came out of nowhere, and used Tackle on Pikachu. Pikachu used Thunderbolt when the smoke cleared. Thunderbolt hit Koffing. Koffing fell to the ground, and Ash, Brock, Daph, and Pikachu were able to pass. When they were further down the path, they heard something.

"Koff! Koffing!"

Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph turned around and saw Koffing. Koffing went up to Ash.
"Ash, I think Koffing wants to join your team!" said Brock.
"Okay!" said Ash, holding out a poke ball.
Koffing tapped the poke ball, and went inside,. The poke ball shook four times, and then stopped shaking. Ash had caught a Koffing!

Episode 23: The Rage of Geodude
Ash, Brock, and Daph were in a battle against Team Rocket.

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

Ash had out Prinplup, Daph had out Abra, and Brock had out Geodude.
Jessie sent out Yanmega, and James sent out Carnivine.

"We have to get Pikachu!" said Meowth.

Carnivine used Bullet Seed. Bullet Seed hit Geodude. Geodude fell to the ground, but then, got back up. Brock could tell that his Geodude was angry. Geodude used Rock Slide. Rock Slide defeated Yanmega.

"Geodude!" roared Geodude.

Geodude began to glow.

"Geodude's evolving!" gasped Brock.

Geodude evolved into Graveler. Graveler Rock Slide. Rock Slide hit Carnivine. Carnivine was knocked into Team Rocket, and they were sent flying through the air.

"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!" cried out Team Rocket.

Episode 24: Training Battle Evolution
Ash was in a training battle with Daph. Ash had out his newly captured Koffing, and Daph had out her Abra. Koffing used Sludge, but Abra dodged the attack with Teleport. Suddenly, Abra began to glow. Abra evolved into Kadabra.

"Wow!" exclaimed Daph.
"Abra..." muttered Ash.
"Abra evolved into Kadabra!" said Brock.
"Pika!" Pikachu said in amazement.

Suddenly, a net came out of nowhere, and captured Koffing, Kadabra, and Pikachu.
"Pikachu! Koffing!" cried out Ash.
"Kadabra!" cried out Daph.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!" laughed three voices.

Ash, Brock, and Daph looked up to see that the net was coming out of the bottom of Team Rocket's balloon.

"We finally got Pikachu!" said Jessie,
"Along with some other pokemon!" said Meowth.
"Giovanni is bound to give us a high reward!" said James.

Suddenly, Kadabra charged up, and then used Focus Punch several times, punching several holes in the net until they were free. Pikachu, Koffing, and Kadabra fell to the ground below, while their trainers caught them.

"Man you're heavy, Kadabra!" moaned Daph, collapsing on the ground, and dropping Kadabra.

Kadabra used Psychic, and sent Team Rocket, and their ballon flying through the air.

"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!" they cried out.

Episode 25: Riolu, and Rhyhorn
Ash, Brock, Pikachu, and Daph were walking down a path when they ran into a Riolu, and Rhyhorn.

"They look really strong!" said Daph.
"I agree!" said Brock.
"I think I'll try and catch them!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.

Ash sent out Prinplup, and Koffing.

"Prinplup, use Bubblebeam! Koffing, use Sludge!" said Ash.

Prinplup, and Koffing did as they were told, and fired their attacks at the Rhyhorn, and Riolu. Riolu, and Rhyhorn were hit, but they didn't show any signs of weakness. Riolu charged up to Prinplup, and hit it with Force Palm. Prinplup fell over backwards, and collapsed on the ground in defeat. Prinplup was put back into its poke ball. Ash sent out Spearow. Rhyhorn hit Koffing with Horn Attack, knocking Koffing right out of the air. Kofing collapsed on the ground. Koffing had been defeated by the Horn Attack.

"These pokemon are tough..." Ash muttered nervously.

Spearow used all of it's attacks, and finally, Riolu, and Rhyhorn were weakened. Ash threw two poke balls. The pokemon went inside of the poke balls, and the poke balls shook four times, and then stopped shaking.

Team Rocket peeked out of the bushes.

"Did you see that?" asked Meowth.
"Yep..." muttered Jessie.
"The twerp has even stronger pokemon now..." James muttered nervously.

Episode 26: The Evolutions of Rhyhorn
Jessie, James, and Meowth walked out from behind the bushes.

"Team Rocket!" growled Ash, Brock, and Daph.
"Pikachu!" growled Pikachu.

Ash sent out his new Rhyhorn. Jessie sent out Igglybuff, and James sent out Carnivine. As soon as Igglybuff was out of its poke ball, it began to glow. Shockingly, Rhyhorn began to glow as well. Rhyhorn evolved into Rhydon, and Igglybuff evolved into Jigglypuff.

"Rhydon!" exclaimed Ash.
"Jigglypuff!" exclaimed Jessie.
Rhydon used Earthquake, and defeated both pokemon that belonged to Team Rocket. The attack also sent Team Rocket flying backwards through the air.

"Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again!" they cried out.

A Nurse Joy walked up to them.

"Sorry, but I couldn't help but notice your battle. Your Rhydon is very powerful!" said Nurse Joy.
"Thank you!" said Ash.
"Do you want it to become stronger?" asked Nurse Joy.
"Sure." said Ash.
"Then take this. Give it to your Rhydon." Nurse Joy said, handing Ash a Protector.
Ash handed the Protector to Rhydon. Suddenly, Rhydon began to glow. It evolved into Rhyperior!
