My favorite gen was Gen 4, even if Diamond & Pearl felt bare bones at the time but Platinum more than made up for that.

Gen 3 was kind of fun too. Couldn't get into XD and Emerald that much but the other entries in that generation were fun as hell.

I'm all about Gen 2, even if I don't really play any of the related games anymore. My poor HeartGold, I restarted you and then left you to sit again.
Gen 3 is okay, it's one of those where I'm not sure how much I actually like it, and then when I play one of the games it's far more enjoyable than I thought it would be.
