Boyz, it ain't that confusing.

We go down by One, Ek, Un, Uno, Een, Eins, Um, Et

And they go up by Two, Do, Deux, Dos, Twee, Zwei, Dois, Twa

idk it seems like the only people having a hard time counting would be the males, tokyo and i are holding it down.

it's explained in the first post but traditionally in this game males counted down by 1 and females counted down by 1. now, to make the game balanced, females count up by 2 and males continue to count down by 1. hope this helps
