My parents are technically reliable transportation, as my mom works at home and my stepdad works late at night. (Given, he usually comes back early morning and sleeps 'til noon or so.) But yeah, it seems like a lot of jobs expect you to have work experience prior to applying. Ironic considering I'm applying so I can get that experience in the first place, orz

I recently got a letter from a company saying they hired students looking for job experience; however, it dealt with marketing knives, meaning I'd have to call people and knock on doors and the like. For someone who still has quite a bit of social anxiety, it just isn't worth it x_x

I know exactly how you feel, I would prefer a job where I don't have to be seen (such as an assembler at places like WalMart or ToysRUs).

This went from fries to jobs very quickly.
