Haven't heard anything about a new trailer so nope. :P They probably won't reveal a new one until after they show a full blown picture of this new Pokemon on the 21st.

What I ment to say was that I think the silouhette will be revealed in a new trailer, plus a lot more info about the movie.

It's Dark as in Darker and Edgier. Not Dark as in darkness. So Light wouldn't make sense.

It's been a while, I should have replied earlier minchan, sorry.

What about RubyVolcano and SapphireOcean? I mean, it doesn't quite fit the FRLG/HGSS name pattern but it kinda sounds better...

Thing is, it's kinda obvious. RubyVolcano and SapphireOcean would be like calling GS remakes SkyGold and OceanSilver. Nintendo is thinking of something more... classy, like HeartGold and SoulSilver. (That are so much cooler.) BloodRuby and RoyalSapphire reminds me of a dynasty, i like it better (my opinion, of course).

I like the name Silk but Oil... even though it IS sought after... I just don't find "oil" in itself too appealing...

Maybe, but I really think we should have a white and black themed covers, for the first time. Almost all other colors were already used:

BLUE: Blue, Sapphire, Diamond
YELLOW: Yellow
RED: Red, Ruby, FireRed
GRAY: Silver, SoulSilver
YELLOW, RED and GRAY: Platinum
GREEN: Green, LeafGreen, Emerald
ORANGE: Gold, HeartGold
PURPLE: Crystal
PINK: Pearl

Silk is white and Oil is all I could find for a black themed Version, or maybe Carbon (since oil is a hydrocarbon). And as this new Pokémon is to be the next version's mascot (and if it is Mightyena's evo) we could probably have a black version, then.

And, as another comment, I think the timing on the Generation V announcement was sort of off. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the new games and Pokemon, but the U.S. hasn't even gotten HG/SS yet! And now HG/SS will sort of be like something to tide us over until further on in 2010... I'd prefer it if the announcement had come in April, at the earliest...

Lol, I still haven't entered Generation IV yet (hoping to play Platinum and HeartGold sometime in the near future), and already a new Pokemon is rising from the depths of Game Freak! Can't wait to see what else is on the horizon, though... :)

Why do people keep saying there will be light types I mean you can already tell they won't happen as they would screw up the game by probably having to change alot of Pokemon's types. I actually see psychic or normal as the light type.

Well Mightyena definitely is a GIANT focus there, notice how its the ONLY 3rd gen Pokemon, the ONLY dark Pokemon, AND its in the middle. Also, NO LIGHT TYPE!!! ITS TOO LATE TO ADD NEW TYPES!!!

I thought of Pokemon Obsidian for black, maybe Pokemon Coral, Pokemon Quartz, and maybe we leave substances, if its Heart and Soul now, maybe we'll have Pokemon Spirit, Pokemon Balance, Pokemon Revelation, Pokemon Retribution!!!

Everyone knows they won't change nearly every single Pokemon's type that would take forever to do and it's stupid. And sound type? WTF that is even worse than light. Like someone said earlier it's too late for new types.

IDK about the whole Light theory it might mess up a lot of fans heads if they start saying their favorites are now Light pokemon. I think Normal is "Light" pokemon so they are the opposite of Dark. Normal are Easy going pokemon, and Dark are mysterious, evil and sometimes too naughty!

Why do people keep saying there will be light types I mean you can already tell they won't happen as they would screw up the game by probably having to change alot of Pokemon's types. I actually see psychic or normal as the light type.

The battle system is balanced enough, and they would have to alter the types of some moves and Pokemon. Espeon is supposedly a "light" Pokemon, moves like Flash Cannon are suppose to represent light too. Electric, Steel, Psychic, Grass, and Normal-types all have moves that represent light.

And Psychic-type doesn't match up now with the dominance of the dark-type. Many of the Pokemon that have the most weaknesses are psychic (... and grass, but grass-type is superb offensively).

Play shoddy and you won't have to worry about wondertomb. For competitive on the DS just battle someone you'll trust. You could also just use fire fang on them.

Yeah, I agree that Poison could maybe get a boost in the type chart, but only a minor one. Adding an 18th type doesn't make sense. Especially the prospect of light.
