This could make it so people don't just make the starter hardcore and have a bunch of HM Slaves.

Sounds too much like that spin-off. I can't remember the name of it, but the guys had snag balls and were catching the Pokemon of other people.
 
What about a team led by a boss with an altimatum (s/c?) Like Giovanni in the FR/LG saga of PokemonSpe where he leads TR to find his son? Maybe the boss wants to find his/her lost child, or maybe they want to reunite with a lost love, or bring back a long-deceased Pokemon (Mask of Ice).

I actually don't like this idea due to the fact I like the evilness of a plot. Like Team Aqua and Magma wanted the earth and Team Galactic wanted the universe.

I'm gonna laugh if Gen.V's team's altimatum is to destroy the other version's color of paint. Say you're playing black, the team in black will seek out to destroy white paint. Why? Because everyone knows black+ white makes grey, and grey doesn't look good on evil guys :D.

Well they're gonna run out of 'space' sooner or later. Gen III had earth, and Gen IV had universe...you can't get any bigger than that! Maybe B/W will have a team out to create a big [profane] worm hole?

If they mix it up a bit, then this generation will be fun to play in. I wonder what "home HM" will be introduced in the 5th generation. (home HM meaning a HM that is only counted for that region, ie: whirlpool = johto, dive = hoenn, defog = sinnoh)

lets see, tree climbing anyone? lol that could be a grass type that does 90 damage, I guess it can be rock climb's counterpart.

That would actually be pretty sweet. Why kidnap a rattata when you can kidnap Proffeseur Raticate the king of Rattata related knowledge!! (bad example. :P) And rescuing people usually earns you items. =D

That map is pretty freaking sweet, and it shows us where the next regions could be based off. Besides a coast which we pretty much know for sure. What about up north of Pewter where those two peas-in-a-pea-pod islands are? Looks like a good place to me. Shikoku needs a region though!! :P

Im thinkin' that the next region will be in that space between johto and hoenn, maybe it will be a "passage way region" between those other 2 regions. That be actually kinda cool if you think about it.

And Shikoku connects to Cianwood too!! That's personally where I want the region to be. They could skip a 3rd gen remake (and miss out on the cash, yeah right. :P) and just have another dual regioned game using Hoenn!! My loveable wuvable Hoenn. :)

Hmm, I'm not sure if you're saying this as well... but I can see them using that whole area in between Johto and Hoenn and not just one part. The screenshots from the game showed us a port, and although all the Pokemon games have had little ports, this new city looks to be a massive port area. That might signify that this whole region could be pretty massive; that and a lot of people have always asked for a big region and more to do. I think it'd fit perfectly with all the peoples requests.

Perhaps the large mass of land surrounded by water could be accessed after the league is over, or just part of the region we're suppose to go through. Either way, I am hoping for something massive of the sort.

Pretty much what I was going to say in regards to Angelroid last post on the last page. I think we all want the region there but why not use the entire area!? As long as we don't have to traverse a mountain or water way a gazillion times to get around and there's stuff to do than why not make it big?

oh, well then I hope that the new region is in the Tohoku Region of northern honshu...well they can't use all of tohoku cause it's huge, maybe around Aomori/Morioka/Akita prefecture...that area has the oga peninsula which had what was Japan's 2nd largest lake..Either that or Kansai region (it has largest freshwater lake). What do you think?
