Also, to whoever wants trio-typed, go dig a ditch. Two types are complicated enough! Besides, you wouldn't want a Rock/Ground/Water type with an x8 weakness against grass, would you?

None of these would make sense there is why Light type isn't needed it would mess a ton of Pokemon up and I know that nearly every Electric type won't be half light because the light type is one of the dumbest things ever.

Things like Suckerpunch, Thief and Bite aren't really related to the absense of light at all though.

Having all the regions based of the same small country makes things look too similar. The journey through Sinnoh just felt like someone simply shifted the routes in Kanto. I'd like to see a region based on some other part of the world. What about the Himalayas? The Serengeti? New York?

Something I've always wondered too. (Well since I found out the regions were based off of areas of Japan) I mean we have an entire beautiful world out there. Nothing against Japan, but why restrict yourself? I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I've designed my own region, why can't they put their heads together and do the same?

You said that light evaporates water and thus should be super-effective on water. I was just simply correcting you in saying that light doesn't evaporate water. Just trying to help you out in creating your type chart. :)

Replying to your post below too. The city in the seventh movie is based off of Vancouver. So it's definately been done in the anime, I agree with you, it's about time they continued the trend in the games!

Yeah, Japan is becoming too overused (though the only region that really felt Japanese was Johto).

I'd like to see a European region. The new movie where the new Pokemon is being released is taking place in Norway, correct?

Europe has a lot of variety to it. Windmills, hot air balloons, clock towers, trains, etc. Maybe Meister would be the Master?
 
3 Typed Pokemon sounds pretty stupid. Too complicated as well...

So, which Pokemon you think need evolutions.

Think about it, if we were only limited to Japan we would never experience other places in the world. I WANNA VISIT THE GRAND CANYON!
 
Anyone remember Orre? That was apparently based off the Arizona desert. Orre turned out to be an interesting region, or at least something new. But I believe that region was designed by Genius Sonority, and not Game Freak. :/

The animators for the Pokemon movies travel across the world looking for new locations, I believe Game Freak should do the same.
 
The place needs to be more generic. Take a look at Hoenn (sea and islands) or Orre (desert) for places that aren't. There needs to be a lot of cities and stuff too. Japan does work pretty well. It isn't really overused in my opinion in that you wouldn't even notice if you weren't told.

I think HGSS really showed how beautiful they can make pokemon games look. A Grand Canyonesque are would be sick and be so pretty!!
I hope they give more attention to cities though. I loved Hoenn so much cause the cities were original. Johto is good for that too, Goldenrod is the only truly "giant" city in the pokemon world and it's not even as big as it could be.

I'm as always hoping for a Mime Sr. and a Farfetch'd evolution that is the first ever Flying only type pokemon!

I agree with all those except Jxnx. It's creepy enough as it is. :P Also how about a ghost type Evee?

Another idea, BRING BACK POKEMON SNAP!!
 
Chatot needs an evolution too. I don't think Jynx, Mr. Mime, Hyno or Pinsir need one though.

Actually they could probably make it really awesome though. Like a Frosslass, Jynx and Mismagius cross.

Mime Jr.->Mr. Mime->Mime Sr. It has to be done!! =P
I think Sandslash and Masquerain could use for an evolution too.

Also Weezing needs one, Koffing->Weezing->Hacking!! =D

Dive! Dive! Dive!! I actually really enjoyed the Dive HM and thought it could really be expanded on in Generation IV. It dissapointed me when it didn't make a return.
