dont think it would be very likely. all of the past water types hav been land based. it would be weird having one which can only go in water.
 
They should also upgrade the Pokegear to allow players to call other players in-game via WiFi, or text/pictochat.

Have you forgotten Remoraid, Magikarp, Gyrados, Lanturn, Qwilfish, Feebas, Relicanth, Carvanha, Sharpedo, Goldeen, Seaking, Wailmer, Wailord, Finneon and Lumineon?

Having a Dolphin Pokemon would be great, and since a Dolphin is a 'mammal' it would work on land.
 
i think he meant all water starters not just all water pokemons,....A dolphin,however will be majestic !
 
also, if they did include a Dolphin Pokemon, I'd imagine it's Pokedex entry would state something about intelligence, and it would know some techy attacks.

I think he means just the starters. I do wonder how the ones that are water based move on land i mean do they wiggle or somthing or just bounce?

p.s. since Gyrados is part flying i asume he is able to fly.
 
I found this artwork a couple months ago and personally saw this to be a very interesting idea for starter Pokemon :

A water starter based off of the Hippocamp or the Loch Ness monster sounds very innovative to me personally.
I've always loved both of those myths. <3 Though this person's interpretation of the water starter reminds me of Gomamon from Digimon. :x
Still not entirely sure about a grass-type bird.. but we do have a water and fire bird, so heck why not? :3

I you guys forgetting something? The People said "You won't believe you're playing a Pokemon Game". So, we might not have Grass/Fire/Water starters. They might change it.

I really hope they got creative this time around, something like our hakking (weezing evo) would be very impressive and fresh. Some type combos I would love to see are Poison/Electric, Fire/Poison, Dark/Dragon, Poison/Dragon, Normal/Dragon (Dunsparce Evo)...
 
I think that this week on pkmn sunday, they'll reveal the starters. I think that the water starter that is similar to the lochness monster would be awesome, and I think that there should be a flying/ grass pokemon for sure.

I'm not to excited however about the big graphic change, it looks great but I think it's too different from a traditional pokemon game.

Since this is the Gen. IV speculation thread, What do you think the Hoenn remakes will be called? (If they make one.) I'm guessing something along the lines of Volvanic Ruby and Tidal Saphire.
 
I think we can guess that a strong Dragon Pokemon is going to be released. Let's see...
R/B/Y - Dragonite
G/S/C - Tyranitar (not a Dragon, but a strong cool Pokemon :P )
S/R/E - Salamance
D/P/Pl - Garchomp

So... A new cool Dragon Pokemon comming out too? (:
 
I'd like something better than a GB Player/Sounds, I'd like an MP3 Player that allows you to listen to the games soundtrack, aka, sound test option, Pokemon Pinball R/S had one, and so does PKMN MD Explorers of Sky, so I don't see an excuse for 5th gen not to have one. It would save the trouble of going on Youtube, and it would allow you to listen to the music even when you're going around the game normally, so you could your fave battle theme whilst walking on a route...it should only work on the OW though, and also should not interrupt important events. (hence it should only be gotten after the main story.)
 
For the starters I like the Grass/Flying baby peacock pokemon, and the cute little Water starter posted earlier. I'm not quite sure about a Fire starter though. Maybe a pig/boar line?
