Supposing that the names here will be Pokémon Black & White, what do you think it should be the name of a third version game? (I've heard Pokémon Gray, but it isn't so much creative...)
I'm too eager... I like third versions... XD

well they don't necessarily have to combine black and white. Diamond and Pearls have nothing in common with Platinum but they still chose that name. What colors will we have left after b&w?
lets see there is: red, blue, yellow, green (though never released outside Japan), black, and white..so that leaves pink, orange, brown (they could use that name), violet..and Im too lazy to go on :). They could always use different shades of the colors they already have you know.

Also, a crazy idea just crossed my mind. Did Pokémon Sunday or Gamefreak even stated that the starters will be Grass/Fire/Water? I dunno, maybe they'll make another type triangle?

I don't think they will change the names, not with something this big. If someone does complain about it I will personally send a dozen emails to nintendo and start a petition here on PC to stop them from doing that!I think we'll be fine guys...ur kinda scaring me here.

I think they will change it. If you saw Pokemon Sunday, they said "Black and White". Now I think the Japanese understand this colors in their English names, so they don't really associate it with race. In the English world however, it is associated with race so will probably be changed.

Polar bears, don't sound like such a bad idea, but why do we need a parrot grass type starter that will gain the flying type? Sounds like Chatot put some leaves on it's head instead of a musical note.

I don't think they'll change the type triangle... Each pokémon is weak against a second one and strong against the third one. It's said to be a perfect combination since right from the start...
@PiPVoda: I like the name Pokémon Brown... And at first generation, each version was named after a primary color... Blue, Red, Green (in Physics) and Yellow (in arts)... interesting...

hey reddo don't see you very much in this thread. I think the third one will be called Gray as it's the only shade i can think up... Grey is a shade right.

Well Grass/Fire/Water isnt the only perfect circle...Fighting/Psychic/Dark is as well...Fighting > Dark > Psychic > Fighting...there are more aswell...

But yeah they won't change the circle

they should also make it so bidoofs can't evolve, Bibarels sucks.

Why would they... they are perfect as they are... and no they are not only race associated... look at that black computer... hey young man you being racist for calling it black...lol so no it's not just race, it's the eastern world... sometime the eastern world seems more accepting than the western part of the world... and the taliban live in the eastern half...

Bulbapedia had it... i saw it... actually he the thing that inspired him was a wire linking two gameboys... and then he imagined what if creatured could go threw that cord... so trading inspired him so if it wasn't for him thinking of trading... there would be no pokemon... kind of explains why lot's of gen 1 pokemon evolve by trade...
