No, because Dark is immune to Psychic making it unbalanced.

The starters will be Grass, Fire, Water as always. Pokémon games are atleast THAT predictable.

No they will prob have alot of evos actually...so "we all know that aint happening" is BS because there is a 99.99% chance that it will

The names shouldn't be changed, I'd actually like to see black people in Pokemon, why is everyone a white person, seriously?

Because Japan is mostly made up of people with the same skin color which is white... that's why.
 
Brock is as black as it gets, and he's awesome.
 
@ Volroc: Everyone knows Game Freak will make Pokemon Orange the last game, where it will be a remake on a SDHC Card for Nintendo DSII, in which you start in Kanto and end in the region of the 6th generation, and even going to places like the Orange Archipelago, Come on! XD jk

Anyways, the ONLY viable starter types besides water/fire/grass are:

Rock/Fighting/Flying
Fire/Rock/Steel
Grass/Poison/Ground

The irony being, that water is the only one that isn't included. XD

EDIT: Well if Game Freak hadn't run out of ideas, they could do 4 or 5 starters....

Fire/Bug/Grass/Water
Fire/Grass/Ground/Rock
Rock/Flying/Grass/Ground

Fire/Bug/Grass/Ground/Rock
Bug/Grass/Ground/Rock/Flying

LOL at Brock being black, but it's true. I just hope they never modernize Pokemon and make Brock ghetto....*puke*

I swear if they kill of Brock in Generation V anime, I will hurt somebody. Has anyone noticed how they like making the girls, Ash hangs out with more [AGELIMIT]

As for me, I've worked enough on my project today, it's Mother's Day; and I've had enough debating and chat. Thanks peoples.
 
Nintendo will probably never break the grass/water/fire starter set they have. It's like asking them to allow more than 6 pokemon on a team...I don't see it happening. I am wondering though what they will call the region. I just want them to reveal the land mass already (that probably won't come till later in summer). Do you think they'll put mountains in again? We need a new physical feature. Other than that I want to know how big the region is (preferably it's as big as sinnoh..but I doubt it will be), and I want to know if they thought about making the leaders harder and adding in more than 8.
 
Or its like asking them to let pokemon have 5 moves at once

A prof that studies pokemon emotions... it would have fit better with gen 4 with Mesprit and all... maybe she does her hair like Mesprit's.
 
As for the names i made some up

Jap and English

(Left) Gurkin (grass Raptor) and Rapine (Raptor Vine)
(Top) Boruta (Volcano hog) or Banteo (Bunny Meteor) and Porkaque (Pork Barbaque) or Burnitt (Burn Rabbit (Play on words for burn it))
(Right) Kamowa (Platypus River) and Poseipus (Posiedon Platypus)
 
IF they change the names these are perfect:

onyx (a black stone)
prism (a white stone)

^_^ see? lol

anyways in the end when pokemon is complete all the regions will be joined in 1 lol with all pokemon catchable
not to mention pokemon ranger games will be joined together will all pokemon "catchable"
:P
 
Ugh...I thought an actual Pokemon would be revealed, not just silhouettes... As of now, I'm sort of worried about how they'll look (especially the one on the far right standing upright). But I'm hoping Nintendo will innovate again (and hopefully, the Fire/Water/Grass chain will be altered/redone for once. Rock/Fighting/Flying would be interesting...)
