ON TOPIC- i want a region where half of it is in one part and the other part you have to surf, fly, and take a 12 hour bus to get too- kinda like getting from sparta to crete

annnyway, onto the regions.... Im not really familiar with the actual names of the regions in japan but Im thinkin' the region could be in that area between hoenn and johto, or that big area (the northern coast) above johto and kanto. They could just flip it around just like they did with hoenn.

That would be shikoku or it could be Chugoku but it's farther north to johto than Shikoku is... but the Arceus event did show us as being around there... i research if there is a big mountain there
Oh someone here mentioned Kobe but it's already been done... it's olivine city.
 
I've been searching for a long time on 2ch, and I don't know whether to trust some people, but it looks like some people tried to leak but it get smacked down early.
Still, I'm not sure.

Anywhere else that the where photos might leak.

Yeah Bavaria is pretty big, not too much smaller than Hokkaido. Munich could be the alph ruins or eterna city of the region (b/c of its architecture). Lol neuschwanstein is huge, but beautiful and what located on a cliff? So instead of going through a cave to get to the pokemon league how would we get there?
 
whats all this talk about what the region will be based on? since when has the regions been based on a real world place?

I really really hope so. Strangely enough, the reboot in generation 3 is what really attracted me to it. Cant wait to see what generation 5 brings :D

lol relax my fellow Magikarp lover, it took me awhile to realize that it was based off of real world places. Check the japan map and then check the region map in your games :]

that would be a great idea, but 12 hour bus? ehhh, if 12 hours in gameplay equaled 2 minutes in real-time then sure! :D they could always add an underwater train or something with multiple stops.

since the beginning of pokemon. So far the regions have all been based on regions of Japan. If pokemon keeps going (and I'm 100% positive it will) sooner or later they will run out of areas of Japan to use and will have to venture out.

lol, underwater train... i would like to see a underwater tunnel made of Glass so you can see the under the sea! in 3D... or just bring back dive... but until you get the Hm or tm if they do the flash thing, then you get to travel though a cool underwater cave!
 
Pokémon has references from all over the world, so it is possible that the regions start spreading across the globe... maybe there will be a plane ride after all!

I kinda like that idea. Longer game = more enjoyable and something to look foward to when you get home from school lol.

Actually I think that they should make the routes even more longer. Thats another reason that I enjoyed running around in the sinnoh region. So many places to see, so many new pokemanss, BERRIES!! I think they should have like a specific berry for each area (like lechi berries on mirage island in RSE).

Will we have a new method of transportation... maybe a metro similar to the magnet train...

It base on a high cliff. You would have to walk up a hill.

Yes...since that time Ash became a Pokemon trainer...and left...to adventure...in the Kanto region of Japan...

anyways...yes Gen V is a complete reboot so much that you "won't believe it is Pokemon"
 
ok i see the thing with kanto, johto, and s***to (thats what i call it XD) but hoenn doesnt match up at all

Maybe they should expand the train into like one huge battle place. Or get the train hi-jacked by the "evil" team. It would be pretty cool if they have battable trainers on the train (like the lighthouse in HG/SS). Fun, fun, fun.

This is a minor feature that I would like them to have:
You know how they have that morning-day-evening-night feature right? Well I always wondered why the light on the inside of buildings dont match the light on the outside.
Ex: Its nightime, and you go inside a house/building and it has windows, and you see that theres daylight beaming in from the window when it is clearly nightime. I want nintendo to fix that because it always bugged me when I was playing DPPHGSS

That's because they flipped Hoenn 90 degrees now tilt your head to the right in that map in bulbapedia and you will see it.
