It looks like dark pulse to me. That would be cool if different graphic appear when pokemon come out. Haha when you sent out Charizard flames come out of the pokeball. Then again we have pokeball seals, but they could greatly improve them.

Yeah it does kind of look like Dark Pulse, but the enemy Zoroa also has a dark purple ring around the grass.

Of course it could be a totally new move all together - Can't wait til we get a few more battle screens to work it out XD

And what the heck do some people mean by "reboot"?

I think people mean a 100% new Pokédex like in Ruby/Sapphire?

I kinda like that idea. Longer game = more enjoyable and something to look foward to when you get home from school lol.

Actually I think that they should make the routes even more longer. Thats another reason that I enjoyed running around in the sinnoh region. So many places to see, so many new pokemanss, BERRIES!! I think they should have like a specific berry for each area (like lechi berries on mirage island in RSE).

Ahhh, I hated growing berries..I'd never feel like flying to where I planted them and I forgot too. I liked the berry pots in HG/SS better. The only downside is that you can't plant more than 4 berries at a time, but I still think they should be used in gen 5 region if they can't make planting berries more enjoyable.

Start from scratch really. Generation kinda started from scratch, but most of its pokemon were unique to its region. Sinnoh, on the other hand, was a "continuation" of the Johto region imo. Most of its pokemon were based off of Johtos pokemon. (Pre-evos and evolutions)

What reboot usually means...in Gen I and II we had the same basic stuff (Only one Special stat!) and no IVs or Evs...Gen III changed that...as Gen IV has promised to do...

lol those rings around them are dark pulse? I just thought it was apart of the new battling style and the color changes depending on what type the pkmn is..>_<

Ahhh, I hated growing berries..I'd never feel like flying to where I planted them and I forgot too. I liked the berry pots in HG/SS better. Berry pots was a nice idea, or they should go back to the HGSS/GS days when the trees grow back their berries.

I mean RS/DP - I'm only taking berries not the whole plant! XD No sense what so ever.

Yeah... i sure hope the do reboot it like that... good thing is we can connect with DpptHgSs and transfer our pokemon from there...
One last thing the roman numeral for 5 is V n IV... have we all been using 6 rather than 5...

No it wasn't, chronologically; Sinnoh happened at the same time as Johto

Could be, or it could just be the battlegrounds 3D shadow. But thats just my perspective, yours sounds ten times better than mine.

Actually running around looking, planting, and picking berries helped me hatch a bunch of eggs, and also level up some of my pokemon at the day-care. I wonder what new features that they will add that includes "how many steps you have to take".

I'd love to see a 10 years in the future kind of idea, which means if you DO go to a previous region (aka Hoenn) it would be a totally new experience :)

no IV is 4 xD I got mixed up because I was talking about IVs and EVs and doing like 4 things in rl at the same time xD VI is 6...V is correct

I think nintendo is trying to tell us to go green; replant the berries or we will stop making pokemon games. o.o sounds like a threat to me xDDDD

Probably in the future sometime after D/P/Pt more than likely...all the regions imo seem to be sometime in the future. Though in the anime this isn't the case. I have come up with a unique way to measure time...10 episodes = 1 day in our time...there have been around 638 episodes aired outside of Japan so meeh you guys can do the math I don't feel like it :)

How do people know Hoenn take's place the same time as Gen I and don't tell me because you can trade with out a time capsule... because you can also trade between the two orre game's despite being a few year's apart! so I think this region should establish the Hoenn time line... and it's own... you do know Hoenn could have taken place a bit before HgSs as steven calls himself Champion... but this is the odd thing about Hoenn... and also something i like about it... it serves to master when it comes to it's time line!

Maybe it would be good to make Berry growing more interactive, perhaps more of a minigame to ripen your berries?

Orr maybe the berries will have 'levels', level 1 can be used once, level 2 can be used twice etc. if you take extra care of growing them.

speaking of minigames, i always thought there should be a bit more to catching Pokes than throwing a pokeball and leaving it up to chance, I think there should be a little bar on the bottom of the screen with buttons on it and each time you press a button in the alloted time your chances increase.

More like needing specific ingredients rather then just throwing it in? Would make more sense :) Pokéfood cooking!

They had something like that in FR/LG, cant remember exactaly what it was at the moment though :\

But I believe there is a whole lot more to do with berries. Maybe if you crush certain berries together at a specific time and place, you could make your own hyper poition, or maybe even rare candies :D

Yes its starting to sound more and more appealing, on your journeys people could give you their secret recipes which so you can make things (kind of like those herbal medicines in Hoenn?) from berries or things like tinymushrooms.

You should be able to make your own bait for the safari zone too :3 (Which really has to be included in some way or another)
