But then the plot would be wrapped around tax evasion and what not. xD

Hoenn is amazing but I'd rather revisit it with a different plot!! (though Emeralds was amazing) And CoroCoro did mention the possibility of a plane...sort of but it did!!
If they do have a plane that goes to a existing region... I expect it and hope it's...Kanto as it would elimanate all chances for a remake of FRLG which are already remakes! Plus Kanto is in every gen so far and I would like to see a new updated Hoenn with new graphics and that cutsceen with Groudon V.s Kyogre only to have Rayquaza drop down from the sky! Plus I love the existing Hoenn plot and don't want one like the one the new Kanto had in HGSS... it was bad... if it even had any!

Haven't seen everything on Pokémon Sunday; actually I haven't seen it yet at all. From what I can see from the video posted on PokéBeach and here though, this game is coming along much better than I anticipated. The moving sprites seem very life-like, and gives battling a whole new flavor for the game. It won't just be static battles, but it'll be more influenced by movement. The way the camera angles out and back in is also a great touch. As for the little music heard from the battle so far, I like it.

I'm looking forward to see what else was shown on Pokémon Sunday, but from what I'm reading and seen so far, I'm really pleased. The game can only grow from here, but like some mentioned above, I hope GameFreak didn't only put major focus on the game design itself, but the Pokémon as well.

hmm, that makes since. But then all we'd have besides supertall buildings and in-door ski rinks would be water and a lot of desert :P. It would be awesome though if Hiun was like dubai+nyc+ san fran= best city ever created in a game.

OMG, I am starting to not care if ur Pokemon does not follow u since the battling looks so epic (amd thats the main part right?)

Spoiler:

All it's lacking is the bridge!! But you never know, Huin could be based off of major cities around the world.

I couldn't agree more. It's only going to get more dynamic, this is a great part of the process.

Looks like 5th gen. is really going to be something special and a true re-birth.

That video shows everything else Pokemon Sunday showed. The walking scenes start at about 2:45.

there is no doubt that Huin is based off of NYC
The port by the sea with ships
the busy people rushing to get to work
the tall skyscrapers
it all adds up :)

it was amazing! and they went crazy over Mijumaru (proving it's the best of the starters :P), and its back sprite was cute and fuzzy.

guys I'm starting to think this isn't based in NYC. I mean the people here actually move out of your way! they seem to be going scary fast.

I'm sooo sick of Kanto. :P Well that's why I was hoping for a real plot in Hoenn and it could relate to that. As it could show flashbacks of the amazing battles as you're told the legend...you know best of both worlds. :P (Or time travelling. =O)

I completely agree with you, the games will get better from here on out, though I hope we get a good plot with these games if not it's only going to be good for sightseeing. The pokemon need specially the legendaries need better back stories, I mean they never explained why Giratina did to get put in the distortion world and by who (I'm guessing it was Arceus though) and why saying it's name was forbidden, hope they explain that better in the gen 6 remakes of DPPt.

lol maybe you're pushing them?

I have to say, after seeing the way Mijumaru moves in battle, I find it a lot cuter than just the image. I'm actually starting to like it more than I thought I would have.

Haha true but they do say something which could be flipping you off for getting in there way. :P Now I realise the caped dudes aren't actually caped but just business looking men holding what looks like briefcases!! I like how they're moving through the steet but not at the front of the town by the ports where it's more relaxed.

Also at 2:53 you'll notice that people are actually lined up outside some sort of store!! So do you have to get in line? :P

By the way that the people rushing, walking around you, and yelling at you makes me think the location is based on New York :O

Thank you for this, now I'm basically left speechless and in awe.

This truly is the next generation of Pokémon as mentioned above. From everything shown so far, the game can only grow from here like I had said earlier. And to think, this is only a small fraction of information received compared to how much is actually left to be seen.

I agree. I think that there will be a better back story this time around with black and white than we've had before. Well Hoenn's backstory to the legendaries was pretty good.

I wonder if they remake Hoenn will they redesign the buildings to appear as tall as they do in black and white? It's bound to be awesome either way.

Just saying, though it is likely... there are other cities in the world that have ports by the sea with ships, busy people rushing to get to work, and tall skyscrapers. Especially when you compare New York City with cities in Japan.
